Staff is friendly, but the main dentist Dr. Javier could have a bit more tact or professionalism. He kept staring at the mark on my ear and didn’t pay much attention to my X-​rays or teeth. Just looked in my mouth for a min and that was it. Unfortunate!

I found this dentist through a circular ad that included a coupon for free whitening for new patients. Unfortunately, I am unfamiliar with dental insurance and was surprised by how much my services would be to fill cavities in molars, remove wisdom teeth, and get a crown. Over $ 5,000 — jeez Louise!
However, I gave them 4 stars because I experienced the ancient art of customer service here. Not only were they lovely throughout my entire visit to their office, but they called me when I got home to offer to take the value of the coupon off of any services I chose to get, making the cavity fills within my reach. They also advised me to prioritize the services by what my insurance will cover a greater percentage of.
A few bonuses are that this office is very easy to find, beautifully and comfortably decorated, and they have a lot of really cool technology. The staff is very professional and personable. I will take them up on that offer and certainly return.

The facility is very nice and clean and the staff are friendly, buuut after I had my cleaning, the «dentist» came in and did a poor examination. He «reviewed» my xrays and pictures and barely even looked in my mouth, then told me that I had 3 cavities, one that required anesthetic and 2 that did not. The estimated cost was around $ 500. I was shocked because I’ve only had 2 cavities my whole life and now to have 3 since my last visit approximately 8 months ago at a previous dentist seemed strange. I got my records and made the trek to my old dentist an hour away and he said I do not have any cavities. Not even suspicious looking spots. Needless to say I was relieved, but very disappointed that I would be deceived by a health care professional. The dentist knew that I was a nursing student with no income and no insurance. How rude and disheartening! Don’t trust this dentist!

Dr Portocarrero is awesome! Great dental work and very helpful and friendly staff! I’d recommend this office to anyone. They told me how much everything would cost BEFORE they did the work. I’ll be going back– and bringing my wife and kids too!
