Great sausage, the hot is the way to go and it’s a nice size hero. You can tell the peppers and onions are fresh… not the crappy canned ones.

I love food truck food, I stop at them all.
Tried this one a few weeks ago. Overcooked sausage, crappy bread, nothing good with the presentation at all.
Guy was nice enough, but it was one of the few meals I just tossed and said not worth eating.
To be fair it was a bit late in the day and the guy seemed a bit distracted and not into it…
Might I try it again in the spring? Meh could happen but it was really a waste of money this time.

I drive a truck for a living. When I saw the Sausage Kings truck on Sunrise Highway in Merrick I thought it was a mirage. I stopped at a number of spots over the years but nothing compares to these guys. Good, clean, and hot. I told them I will be stopping every Monday and Thursday’s. Don’t disappoint me fellas and leave the spot. Oh yah I have a dog while I’m waiting. You gonna love em.

Finally, quality sausage and peppers available in Long Island, had the hot sausage and peppers hero which was cooked perfectly and the slight touch of fennel paired perfectly with the onions and peppers, bread was bakery fresh, sat in my car for a second debating on seconds… ran back up for a knish sand which… also delectable
