I’m actually a customer and also a neighbor of this place I’m obsessed with their food obsessed with their service Maria and her Dad are probably the most hospital owners I have ever encountered. The Greek pizza is the best i recommend anybody to come and have a visit. You won’t regret it. Oh and that’s Greek salad dressing is so amazing that they even sell it!!! The staff are so nice.

Not as good as I have read; must have been an off night for the staff. Broccoli that accompanied main dish was cold, side salad was pretty small, and the staff kept rushing us to finish so they could take our plates. On the up side, main portions are a good size, we loved the blue-on-white, Greek-themed accents(even in the bathroom!), Mediterranean paintings were pretty, and the white«sails» hanging from the ceilings made us want to book tickets for the island of Santorini!

Food is consistent and décor is very Mediterranean. Overall a great experience and one great thing to point out is that they will give you as much pita as you want, no upcharge. A nice touch. See you all in the future!

My family used to order from Santorini quite frequently years ago. We’ve turned to other Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurants as their popularity has grown in the area. Today, we ordered some gyro sandwiches and platters. The quality has diminished significantly. The gyro meat was awfully bland; it had absolutely no char or seasoning to taste. I had a platter. It came with two huge stalks of unseasoned, steamed broccoli. Like the meat, it was bland. The dish also had some mushy yellow rice with cold tomato sauce. The texture was unpleasant. The flavors followed the trend of the other items: unseasoned and bland. I dowsed the platter in tzatziki sauce hoping to add flavor. The tzatziki was practically Greek yogurt; it lacked dill, cucumber, spices, lemon juices, and oil. Simply put, the food was dull. The restaurant is no where as good as it was in 2013.

I’ve been here multiple times since the renovation and all I can say is… Well it’s edible. The chicken souvlaki is always dry, even my friends chicken salad was bland. I also ordered the hummus and found it to be very middle of the road. I always see old people flocking to this establishment, which in my eyes is a good sign, but I’ve never really liked the food. The service is good and the hostess is always accommodating but… The food is edible but nothing I would rave about… I’ll try again and keep you posted.

Went here for lunch and the food was great. The menu is kinda limited but it might have been just for lunch. On top of the food, the service was super great and ended up tipping 25% because of the waiters. Would definitely recommend this place for some great Greek food.

Went for a late lunch, really is a beautiful place … Quick service. Very friendly staff … Everyone loved their gyros and the hummus 3 dip app was great. Unfortunately I got chicken souvlaki which was dry and bland !! I was so disappointed since everyone else’s food was great. Will try again …

I frequent this place regularly. As a vegetarian, there are many options. I’ve had the falafel meal, spanakopita, vegetarian moussaka, and stuffed eggplant. I’ve never been disappointed. Their trio of spreads appetizer is also delicious, and the house Greek dressing is out of this world! Service is always quick, friendly, and attentive.

The décor of this restaurant receives a 5 out of 5. The wait staff of this restaurant receives a 4 out of 5 as he was very attentive and took the order promptly and accommodated my request to change something off the order. The food however receives a 1 out of 5 compared to the numerous Greek restaurants I have eaten out in Long Island and in the city. The food lacked flavored, there was little presentation put into the plate, and prices were expensive for such sub par food. I was hungry prior to going to the restaurant, but needed to pack up my food as I just couldn’t keep eating it anymore.

Visit Date: March 3, 2015 This place was okay, I’d give it 3.5 stars. The wait staff took forever to come and take our order and just stood around and talked to each other even while the restaurant wasn’t that crowded. The waiter kept look over at us even while our menus were closed for 5 minutes until they decided to come over. Finally, we ordered the hummus and fried zucchini scordalia to start, which were both excellent. For my entrée I ordered the Shrimp Santorini and it honestly sounded better than it tasted. Some bites tasted very spicy and nothing about the dish being spicy is mentioned on the menu. After everything in the dish is mixed up together it just doesn’t have a good taste. Being Greek, I wanted to try the baklava and it was alright, the filo was just a little under-cooked. The price for everything was reasonable for the food that you receive. Would definitely stop by and try new menu items if I was in the area. The atmosphere is very nice as well.

Visit Date: January 23, 2015 I came to Merrick to hang out with my best girlfriend and we decided to come here for a late lunch. This place is absolutely incredible and is now going to be one of my Merrick favorites. The atmosphere and décor are chic & modern and along the walls they have beautiful photographs of Greece. You almost feel like you are on a vacation in Greece. Some of my favorite restaurants like this one are ones that provide great food but also take you away on a brief escape from where you really are. I had the taramasala dip but here I think they just called it tarama, the eggplant pizza and a greek salad. When the salad came they bought my friend and I a huge bowl to split between the two of us. The portion of Tarama was also pretty huge, two giant scoops and nice pieces of pita bread to dip inside of it. The eggplant pizza was amazing, almost like eggplant parm but Greek style. I also drank a cup of Greek coffee which was wonderfully strong, I cannot resist Turkish or Greek Coffee when I am visiting places of that cuisine. If you haven’t tried Santorini yet I recommend it you’ll wont be sorry!

Chose this place because of the positive reviews. Moussaka was meh, and it had this weird sauce on top of it that I had to scrape off. The worst part was that the place was infested with flies. You could see these black dots all over the white walls, and when I looked closer I was so grossed out. The flies would buzz around us after we got our food. The wait staff was apologetic and even comp’d us a drink or something. I won’t ever go back.

This place has gone downhill since the remodel two years ago. The portions are smaller, the wait staff has changed and the new wait staff is not as good. When it was a small family style place it was amazing. Now it’s just a place trying too hard to be what it used to be.

I re-discovered Santorini recently. After living in AZ for over 5 years, my friends wanted to go to a Greek restaurant. Of course I suggested Santorini. Being a full-blooded Greek, born in Greece, I must say, it was just like«yiaya»(grandma) used to make! Everything was wonderful; the food, servers, owners and so on! yasoo! Keep on keepin’ on!

I’ve been eating here for years and they never disappoint. Great food and great service. I’d say the best Greek food in Merrick/Bellmore. Unfortunately, they are closed Mondays and usually close for a month in the summer. If you’ve never been here before, definitely try a gyro or my personal favorite, the stuffed shrimp.

Went on a date here today… The place was nice and pretty clean. The service was pretty excellent. Maybe we just got lucky and had an awesome waitress but she was very friendly, social, and just an overall delight. I ordered the Chicken Ke-Bob Dinner and a pitcher of Sangria. My date had the Falafel Dinner. This also came with a Greek Salad. The salad was good, I enjoyed the dressing… I may have enjoyed it a bit too much =) I had a small piece of the Chick pea patty from the Falafel Dinner and that was good. I really enjoyed the Chicken Ke-Bob dish I ordered. I asked for this onion sauce to dip the chicken in… It was so YUMMY. I was 1 happy customer. The Sangria was good. not great. I had better but still I would order it again. Our waitress kept checking on us to make sure we were happy and we had everything we needed. I wish they had a website. It would be nice to be able to just look at their menu online or some images of the food and stuff like that… I have their take-out menu and did a search online but no website was listed. One slightly odd thing was… when we walked into the restaurant and I went to wash my hands in the bathroom… along the way a few employees or maybe the manager were sitting at one of the booths. There was just 2 – 4 stacks of money sitting there which I find a bit weird. I don’t know if they were counting their tips or perhaps the register but having money which is probably dirty out like that sitting on tables people eat off of. in my opinion isn’t a good idea. Otherwise, I look forward to my next visit here… =)

Found my new go-to Greek in the area! Came here on a Tuesday night with a friend for dinner. We were seated immediately, then brought over menus and waters(in really cool glasses) before being asked if we were ready. It was paced a little too quickly for my liking. We hadn’t been sitting for more than a minute and a half before being asked if we were ready, then were told to let her know when we decided. I was turned off at the beginning, but service took a turn for the better. I ordered a chicken gyro sandwich with just lettuce and tahini sauce and a piece of spanikopita. My friend ordered the chicken melinzana, which was stuffed eggplants topped with chicken breast, melted mozzarella, and tomato sauce. It was served with a Greek salad, pita bread, and rice pilaf. She really enjoyed her dish, and I enjoyed mine as well, and will continue to do so for at least another day since the serving was so large I barely put a dent in it. The waitress came over to ask how our meal was many times during, which was very nice. After we packed our leftovers to go, she asked if we’d like to see a dessert menu. I said yes, because I wanted to bring something home for my boyfriend, but she joked and said she shouldn’t allow me since I didn’t finish my dinner. She was a gem. With everything our bill came to &41.50. So reasonable for the amount of food we received! I see many trips to this establishment in my future!
