Called ahead just before last Memorial Day w-​end to enquire if a specific bike was in stock.
They offered to hold it aside for me, at my request, to which I visited the shop later that day and purchased.
Mike Hammer handled the sale, along with a few accessories too — couldn’t have been easier or more pleasant and hassle-​free. In short, the experience was professional, efficient, very friendly. Had the road bike later that same afternoon. Armando is terrific too.
Personalized service and best of all, actually expressed thanks for my business.
Highly recommended shop.

Excellent new bike shop located in Merrick. Gives us a good new option from having to go to Brands (which we have used all our lives but unfortunately found to be getting too big or busy for proper customer service lately). When I brought my bike in for repair to Merrick Bike shop, it was done immediately on the spot for a good price and it was done right. (wish I could say the same for my last service at Brands).
What a nice clean new bike shop this is. Friendly staff. Good selection of bikes and parts. I hope they do well.

This is also my regular shop now. I’m a avid cyclist that recognizes a good shop when I see one. This shop gets five stars my eyes for many of reasons, mainly for their involvement in the community as they are establishing themselves a new commodity in Merrick. The staff is very welcoming and ready to answer any questions you may have. I found their patience and knowledge to be refreshen.
