Great and big salad selections! Big servings! Fresh food! Reasonable prices. I always enjoy coming here for a fresh and even healthy meal. Hoping for them to open on in Suffolk, Long Island!

Love the en salada con funghi salad. Favorite salad to get. This is also my favorite panini spot. Love the fried eggplant panini with roasted peppers. Reasonable prices.

I’ve eaten at the Roslyn location several times and always liked it, so I’m glad Merrick’s location measures up. It’s much smaller than my go-to La Bottega, but for a casual dinner it’s perfect. I arrived just before 7pm on a Saturday and snagged the last table. As per usual, their salad menu is enormous so I got the Susan salad and added fried eggplant. You can’t go wrong with any of their salads or paninis, not sure about the regular Italian entrees though. The service was a tad slow but my friend and I didn’t mind. We also shared chocolate mousse for dessert which was a nice little sweet treat. Was it the best, no, but we weren’t expecting the best. La Bottega is great for a low-key meal. The prices are excellent too. Large, entrée salads range from $ 11 – 14 and they’re really big and filling! Ingredients are quality, food is good, and I keep coming back.

My friend and I went for lunch today. She ordered the Susan salad and I ordered the salad with fresh mozzarella and grilled shrimp. Both peered delicious. Server was adorable and sweet. The atmosphere was decent and the place was cute. I had not been here in years. We ordered decaf coffee and that was room Temperature not hot like I prefer. I noticed the coffee came out of a large thermos not a regular coffee pot. The rest room had little paper all over the floor. I’m Not rushing back but it was decent.

Friendly, fast service. Did not have to wait on a Saturday for brunch. Good ice coffee. Eggs Benedict was okay. Could have been a bit warmer and the hollandaise sauce wasn’t the best I ever head. Over all I’d come back here for brunch again for sure.

My husband and I ordered delivery from La Bottega in Merrick. My husband usually goes to the one in Plainview and this was our first experience at this location. Overall I am giving it 4 stars. I got the 6 bruschette for $ 10(which I think is a great deal!) and the butternut squash soup. My husband got the Sanremo panini and the lentil soup. The bruschette was incredible. I especially recommend the Verona and the Caprino Con Noci! The panini was also very good. Unfortunately, we were not fans of either soup. We called La Bottega to let them know about this(if we were eating there in person, I would have said something, so I think it’s only right to let them know even though it was delivery). The person who answered, which may have been a manager, was so nice on the phone. Very apologetic and accommodating. He even went above and beyond to ask what exactly we didn’t like so he could check in the kitchen. He sent the delivery person right back to our house with two new minestrone soups. We were really very happy with the minestrone instead. Overall the food is good and totally worth it(plus delivery showed up exactly when they said they would and everything was packaged nicely — so another plus there)! Thanks La Bottega!

This place is excellent for brunch, with their tasty omelets and side of potatoes for under $ 10. They arn’t too oily which is nice. They also have a great selection of paninis and salads with fresh cheese and delicious dressings. The wait staff is friendly, the interior is a bit small but comfortable and relaxing.

I give 5 stars for the food, 3 for the atmosphere(my friend and I were freezing and the table was rickety). Great staff. Seemingly endless, amazing fresh bread basket. I got a beet salad and it was delicious.

Cute place with an expansive panini menu. Took a little bit for takeout but worth it when you taste the fresh ciabatta bread, just-sliced prosciutto and fontina. Tried the arancini rice balls which were yummy and about the size of golf balls. Nice light bite. Seated area looked inviting and staff was very friendly.

Cute cozy place in Merrick, perfect for lunch with a great selection of as-you-like big, yummy salads, paninis and soups. And thumbs up to a professional staff aiming to please, welcome to the neighborhood.

This location is definitely not as good as some of the other locations-like Rockville Centre. The waitresses were snotty, they charged me an extra dollar for a «little bit of mayo» smeared on my panini. And it really was a little bit, I couldn’t even see the mayo. We were rushed through our meal, which always aggravates me – especially when no one was waiting to be seated. The paninis were just eh this time. The guy who worked at the counter was sitting at the counter, eating a panini. Aren’t there usually rules about not eating in front of customers? I was standing at the counter for a few minutes, right in front of him, and he didn’t even look at me. I was going to ask him a question but he literally didn’t even look at me. I’d probably never choose to this La Bottega ever again. Rockville Centre is really always great! The ladies that work in that location are always very sweet.

I have been here many times over the years and I have never been dissatisfied. The menu has been condensed from its original format. I’m upset that my favorite salad didn’t make the cut. However, they will gladly make you any custom salad. The servers are also friendly. Enjoy!

Yeah the food is constantly great. It all ends there. At my job we order every Thursday. Today we ordered 4 items and they messed up 2 of them. One salad was missing onions(which comes with the salad and is not an add on) and was missing fresh mozz. One panini was missing smoked mozz(also not an add on) So we called up to see what they can do for us. The«Manager» told us they can send us new ones but we would have to wait for them and my co workers would have to stop eating what they already had and give it back. That is absolutely asinine. You guys messed up so we should stop eating and wait another hour for the new stuff? NOPE! Wrong answer. What kind of customer service is that? The right thing to do would have been to just to send over the new stuff and not ask for us to stop eating what we have. Also we asked for a credit and they said they couldn’t do it.(which is complete crap) So instead of resolving the issue with proper customer service you guys just lost us as a consistent customer every week!

I have to say that every La Bottega location is consistent and has great customer service as well as Fabulous flavorful food! I get the same thing OVER&OVERAGAIN! It’s always as good as it was the last time, The Cuneo Chicken Panini with Chicken cutlet vs grilled chicken… YUMMY! The prices are extremely fair, with every panini being $ 8-$ 12 each, you can save the other half for dinner because THEYARESOBIGANDFILLING! THEIRSOUPS= AMAZING&TODIEFOR, especially in the cold of winter!(Panera Bread doesn’t touch their recipes!)I defiantly recommend everyone and anyone to come here. This is a great lunch spot for panini’s/soups and apps. It’s also a great intimate yet casual spot for dinner either the family of 4−5ppl or a small group or couple. They have a 3-course menu and heavy duty Italian dishes, either Classico or traditional as well as a kid friendly menu too!!! You are missing out if you haven’t made your way down here yet! Ps: They deliver & Cater as well. They have stamp cards too(get 8 stamps and receive a FREEPANINI!!!) This is a place that you will always leave happy with;) BONAPPÉTIT!

Just finished eating the 4 Cheese panini and my husband had the Pippo panini. Both were delicious! My husband’s was quite spicy! He finished his soda and half my water but he did enjoy it. Was given 3 slices of warm bread as we were seated but failed to notice the olive oil and vinegar on the table so we ate the bread plain. It’s a small restaurant with a brisk take out business.

We had take-out sandwiches from here on a recommendation from a friend who had rave reviews. I don’t think that I’m too picky, but the sandwiches were only ok. There were 4 of us and 3 of us were«fine» with our sandwiches while the friend who recommended the place still enjoyed his sandwich. I would not come out of my way to get sandwiches from here, but I would try another sandwich if someone was going again. They have a lot of options and also have salads and pastas and other things as well so I’d be open to giving it another shot.

When this place first opened, I was hooked! The salads were amazing. However, recently I have been somewhat disappointed. While the salads and dishes are still good and full of flavor, the ever decreasing portion sizes leave my husband and I both wanting more. Also, when I order an avocado salad, I expect to get more than two teeny slices of avocado…

I’ve been a long time fan of La Bottega — used to always get lunch take out on Fridays from the Garden City South location. My mom and I also frequent the one in Roosevelt Field when we are out shopping, so I was thrilled to find out that one was opening in Merrick — the next town over from me. It is still a regular lunch spot for us and we get take out regularly. We love their food. I always get the Erika, which is on the children’s(Bambini) menu — but it’s large enough for an adult and I always take half home. If you dine in they probably will make you order the ‘grown up version’, but since I get take out how will they know :) I also love the Corazzo appetizer, which is essentially a round mozzarella stick. And the ONLY disappointing thing about it is that it is not the same as the one they serve in the Roosevelt Field location. It is still good, but at the Merrick location they use regular breadcrumbs, whereas the mall location uses some kind of battered bread which is phenomenal. I still get it though because it is still delicious — they use fresh mozzarella which I LOVE, and it’s always so tasty. Yes, they are a little pricy, but it’s worth it. You get what you pay for — if you want an okay panini for $ 5 go to the Panera down the block. If you want an amazing one for $ 9, go to La Bottega. This location is small — good for smaller groups, but if you want the good food with a lot of space for a nice dinner make the 10 minute trip up to the mall location. The mall location is nicer, has a bar with TVs which you can order food at(and booze) and a large dining room area. Service is always great there. If you are looking for a nice spot for lunch this place is good. It’s a little dark and definitely small, but is a comfortable place to sit and relax.

The food and atmosphere is good. Although I am not too fond of the service. It seemed that our waiter didn’t like the fact we didn’t know our order after the second time he stopped by and asked what we wanted. Maybe because its late and the place was about to close, who knows? Besides the service the food was good. I had a panini which was really good and the ingredients was fresh.
