Rodeway Inn

We didn’t book a hotel on time for our trip to Kansas and came here. They had rooms available at an affordable price. Cannot complain for the room we got, No one bothers you, Quiet room with cable tv, a fridge, and nice comfy bed. Does not smell. I would come here again on the next visit.

If I could give a negative star I would. The stay here was so horrible, I’ve filed a complaint with the health and safety inspections of the city. The manager was beyond disrespectful. I can not put into words the harassment and degrading behavior he has towards customers or just women in general. I received multiple bed bug bites. That’s only the beginning. The room smelled of urine. There was stains in the bathroom from blood and mold. I highly doubt anyone cleans this hotel. If you’re looking to contract a third world disease this is the place for you. On top of that they over charged me $ 100, on my bill. And when I filed a complaint, they called me a scam artist. Save your money!!!

Was recently inprisoned by my company here on business for 2 weeks.
The 3^rd floor stinks like a hundred year old ash tray that’s never been emptied!
The breakfast is meager at best. The fruit is normally far from ripe, or over ripe. They must get discounted fruit that’s last tier, or about to rot.
The man who checked me treated me like I was a waste of his time.
My room had stains in the carpet. Yellowing on the white painted ceilings. The safe was inoperable, didn’t bother asking he staff for help with it. They’ve upgraded all the televisions to HD, but are connected with coaxial cable. Nice way to save a buck on high tech items and not get high quality results! The WIFI completely sucks in that building, very spotty, and constantly drops out while in use.
Elevator was out of commission for a morning. Would venture to say the thing is not certified any longer as there’s no permit posted.
PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF THE GRIEF AND DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

2^nd time we’ve stayed here. It’s a little high priced for the appearance of the place. The breakfast is decent. The hallways are pretty warm and the carpets are kinda scary.
The bed and linens are always nice and comfortable. Its close to a lot of shopping and downtown attractions (which is why I was surprised it wasn’t «fancier»).
I think there are definitely some things they can improve on. But I’ve seen much worse! And my boyfriend and I stopped at another Comfort Inn 5 miles down the street and they wanted $ 50+ more than this one…

I travel to Kansas City quite often on business and I am also a Diamond Elite Choice Member. This Comfort Inn is on of the worst Choice Hotels in the country. I recently gave them another chance thinking they would have changed but WRONG! they actually are now worse.
The front desk doesn’t give a crap about anything. The rooms are small with awkward furniture and bathroom arrangements. The toilet did not work properly and leaked. There were water spots on the ceiling and I was only on the 1^st Floor. the room even thou it was a non-​smoking still smelled of old stale cigarette smoke and old man ass. Never again.

I’m not sure why this currently has a one star rating. They have a high definition T.V. A really Good heater, a blow dryer, hot water, clean looking restroom, comfortable bed with comfortable sheets, iron with ironing board. The Price is $ 75 a night for a single bed; the only bad thing about this particular location is that it was small compared to the other ones.

I travel for my company on a regularly from coast to coast, so hotels are just part of that life style. My sales rep was going to arrange the hotel close to our visits, and advised me it was a Comfort Inn. I’ve stayed at Comfort Inn before, not something I would prefer but at least it’s just a hair better than a Motel 6.
I was wrong… this place is completely run down and out dated, but worst of all, it had this lingering scent of cigarettes and pee. Then it got worst, the bed is extremely uncomfortable and the beddings are over starched leaving an itchy feeling throughout your body. This location is completely run down and should be leveled and start all over again.
