Jones Cleaners

I have taken clothes to Jones Cleaners for years, and my parents before me, and their parents. But that was at their old location on 9^th street.
On this occasion, I took in a pair of slacks to have a taper put on them, which the seamstress knows exactly how to do. The clerk was argumentative with me as to what a taper was, even though I told her the exact diameter I wanted at them hem. When asked if I wanted them re-​hemmed, I told them I would do it. I was told it would be around $ 10.
I did not receive a call letting me know my clothes were ready to pick up but stopped by a week later. When I asked what the total was, $ 23.54 which is over twice what I quoted because not only did they taper them, they cleaned them, and re-​hemmed them and pressed them, which I appreciate, but could have done on my own.
Will NOT be going back, and hope they actually see this as they lost a 4^th generation customer.
