High Desert Harley-Davidson

I have been going to High Desert Harley for some time now for Service work, Parts and clothing. Always had a great experience. Recently I decided to look into trading up from my 07 FXDL. I was greeted by Steve Keitges and he showed me some great bikes. Even though I desired to not pull the trigger yet, he has been a great help and very respectful. My wife was in Christmas shopping for me and he greeted he with a smile and remembered her and helped her out. Great guy and great company.

Great place to buy a Harley from people who know and own Harleys.
They have all the new models and a super selection of used models.
I bought a used 2014 Fat Boy with low miles and some warranty left.
What a fun bike at a great price from Harley people.

Was an awesome place! There was plenty of staff around for questions that I had. Loved the motorcycle atmosphere in this place. If I was ever in the market for one I would definitely buy it here.

My brother and his wife are making a cross country trip with their Harley in tow. Had an electrical issue and the good folks here helped them out. Left a lasting impression about the great service available to Harley owners when visiting Boise area. They could have charged them for the time and effort but the staff chose to charge the battery got free. This is a business that knows how to treat people. You and your staff should be proud of your work ethic. Thanks for all you do!

Great people great bikes what more could you ask for. The salesman are not pushy by any means and they are there to put the right person with the right bike. I have shopped at other places and they just want the deal, not High Desert they want you to feel right and ride right. So swing by and check them out they have some great choices and hey you never know you might just find your dream ride!

I needed to update my previous review. I got a call back from the service department a few days later, and it turns out that the service manager ended up being out of town on business and that’s why I wasn’t getting a callback for the appointment. They were super apologetic and everything ended up being taken care of in the end. It meant a lot to me to have them call me to explain what was going on, and to offer to make it right. I also recently had them put ape hangers on my bike and everyone from Scott, the parts guy to everyone in the service department was really helpful the whole way, and I’m really happy with the result.

Been all over, to many dealers. It’s a large, clean outfit with lots of bikes and clothes to browse. Like any sales environment, their sales staff works hard to make a sale. It’s the nature of the beast, so I don’t think to much of it. But they also have an excellent parts group, too. Jason and Scott are stellar.
Where High Desert shines is their retail clothing staff. Nearly all the gals that work on that side bust their tail to help. Some are overly pushy, but the majority, such as Jenesis, Makenzie, Tina, Ashlyn, and Paige, are outstanding. Sure, everything is over priced, but if you’re going into any dealership looking to save money, save yourself the trip. But these folks make the experience better than anywhere else.

I’ve been to HD shops all over the world and this one is by far the most active, helpful, professional, and personal. Tons of rides throughout the year, lots of activities, always have food and beer, and support local schools and organizations.
Scotty, Logan and the other guys at the parts counter are outstanding. Always willing to dig into each order and be sure to get just the right parts.
Levi, Misty, Shane and the others in service are awesome. They explain everything they’re doing, are flexible with the schedule, and recommend the right steps every single time.
Ryan Bayne, DJ and the others in sales are excellent. Not pushy at all. Willing to start up any bike on the floor.
Jenesis, Tara and the other gals in the gear dept are always helpful, happy, and fun to talk to. And they don’t get upset when you try on 5 different shirts and don’t buy any of them! ;)

He helped me look over several models, explained the pros and cons of each, and offered advice on which I would most likely be comfortable with because I’m not a big, burly man.
I really liked the Sportster and even took a used on out on a test drive. Man, it was fun — so very different than my little Ninja. Much, much more comfortable for sure.
Although I am not going to buy another bike till my Ninja is paid off (this Spring), I appreciated the help I got at High Desert and will definitely be back when the time comes!

; but I must have some Harley paraphernalia or my fix need won’t be fixed. Some woman who lives with me and won’t ride, hates the shirts with women on them. If I don’t have a woman behind me on the bike, I NEED one on my shirt. Oh well. She bought – no woman on my shirt. I imagine riding each of the bikes. I imagine wearing the leather; new leather with leather smell; new helmet; new wom… well, not that! If you are motivated by a walk-​thru in a Harley franchise, you are not an American, and are heartless. And should Not Be allowed on a Harley. Well, unless you are soundly and righteously converted. When I bought my Harley (Buddy Stubbs-​Phoenix) my wife said she wouldn’t ride. She said, «There are plenty of Navajo women where you’re working; find one of them.» I found a couple and they are fast friends. We rode a lot. On my Harley. Awesome! I have made three stops here at High Desert in two days. Addictive. I think I need a new bike and another for my daughter who loves riding. Stop here! Buy here! Support High Desert!

Friendly staff. Near the huge new Majestic movie theatre. They move a lot of volume. I heard them sell 4 motorcycles in the 90 minutes I was browsing around. Davis in the parts department is excellent!

About a month ago, I was riding through Idaho and stopped by High Desert HD to replace a wiring harness for my heated jacket. I was very impressed by the size of this dealership, and noted that in addition to Sales, Parts and Service, they also offered HD rentals, which I thought was pretty cool.
Regarding the wiring harness, the young lady at the parts and apparel counter was very friendly and helpful, and found the two parts I needed (wiring harness for bike, and thermostat for the jacket).
The people at the dealership –from the lady who was greeting people at the front desk, to the young lady at the parts and apparel counter, and everyone else were all very friendly. I don’t even ride a HD (the heated jacket I have is made by Gebrings, which also makes them for HD), but I went ahead and bought myself a High Desert Harley Davidson shirt, just because it was such a cool place!

What a beautiful place! This dealership is huge and the folks were all really nice. They had lots of bikes and accessories. If you’re a Harley fan and rider you won’t want to miss this place!
