Went in at about 8 am for breakfast, saw 7 people waiting for their food, about 12 people waiting in a long line near the door to the opposite side of the restaurant to place their order for food, and a lone deer in the headlights looking cashier taking orders. At least 12 cars piled up in the drive thru. Said nope and went to chik fil a. A place that can handle a rush of senior citizens like no other. Wish I could could have at least tried the food there.

My peaceful sleep was interrupted by children tapping me stating that they were hungry. I am not a huge fan of fast food but when you are traveling the highways on a Sunday night there aren’t many options. My husband & I noticed a well lit Hardee’s off of Interstate 59 that appeared fairly new. We walked in and looked around the restaurant, the kitchen and dining area were clean and they received an A rating that was posted underneath the surveillance television. The workers wore gloves as they prepared the food and washed their hands as needed. We were pleased and decided to place a to-go order. The cashier was nice and patient with my children as they changed their orders twice. They each finally ordered the«Big Bag Lunch» that included two double chargrilled cheeseburgers, fries, warm apple pie, & a fountain drink. The food was hot, fresh, and satisfying to my children’s growing appetite that it put them right to sleep. In addition to the Hardee’s menu they offer a Red Burrito menu that includes nachos, taco salads, & quesadillas, burritos, and several side orders. I had to try the chicken burrito since they are my favorite. It too was hot, fresh, and a nice size that I could only eat half of it. This Hardee’s location is clean, has a friendly staff, & offers good food! I hope it stays this way as this area could use more reputable restaurants with good Unilocal reviews.
