First, I want to tell the story of how I found this place: I was in need of some 16″ knitting needles and didn’t really know where to get them. No luck at Walmart, so I thought I’d look at hobby lobby. No joy. So finally I decided to go to Joanns. I get there only to find that Joanns was gone! So a little disappointed at my efforts thus far, I searched for«yarn» in my apple maps. I find this«ewe & brew» place in there and decided to check it out. This place was exactly what I was looking for and more. They have all kinds of local yarns made from real stuff! All the knitting needles you would ever need! I was so happy to have found this place. The owner(her name is Brit) gave me a tour of the place. She was extremely nice and so sincere. It is very exciting to walk into a store like this and have the person behind the counter so excited about the business. Talking about different weights of yarns and their eyes light up talking about the new shipment. Now contrast that with the apathetic teenager working at your average big box store. Not so at ewe and brew! They get a 10 out of 10 for being awesome and helping people learn the forgotten arts of needle craft. I will be returning soon!

Wide selection of quality yarns. Disappointed by no coffee… the Brew? Feature great yarns from NW producers. Don’t live close enough to try their classes, but I certainly would.

Fantastic shop and great owner. Good selection of LOCAL and REGIONAL yarns as well as other movers and shakers. The store is bright and inviting and well laid out. They keep everyone up to date with great newsletter and an active facebook feed. I felt very welcomed and comfortable in the store.

I am SO excited to have a new local yarn shop in the valley, and the location couldn’t be better! Ewe and Brew has a fantastic selection of yarn and it’s always changing. She is always bringing in new product which is extremely refreshing. There’s always something new to browse each time you visit. There is a knitting lounge where you can come in, grab a cup of coffee, kick back, and just relax with your yarny project. The gals at Ewe and Brew are extremely knowledge about yarn and fiber arts and are ALWAYS willing to help you out if you run into problems or questions about your projects, or if you need help picking out the perfect yarn for an upcoming project! There is a great selection of fibers for spinning, yarns — of all price points!, needles, notions, and project bags. It really doesn’t get much better than this!

I love this shop for many reasons. They are extremely nice and helpful there, they have a wide price range for yarns, and a decent selection. I can rarely go in without buying something. My only beef? I always want more yarn. More, more, more. Went in looking for a white or off-white DK or worsted weight yarn, and could only find one in mostly acrylic, which is less expensive but I don’t really like acrylic. So, keep growing, little shop! Get me more yarn!

stunned, within a month of opening, owner has the most successful knit night in town, and kicks the thursday night knitters out. says she only wants to cater to new knitters on knit night. then the next day back pedals to SOME people, but not others, so clearly, she wants to hand pick who comes to her shop on knit night, and who doesn’t. we’re welcome to come shop on other days, but not come knit on her published open knit night. high school anyone? geesh,
