Great cajun food in a very relaxed casual atmosphere. This is clearly a local secret that is off the beaten path. Run by a guy that loves his restaurant and the great food he provides. Crab cakes are awesome.

Overall, my hope of a decent and different dining experience in Meridian declined throughout our dinner.
My boyfriend and I went on a date on a Saturday night. Apart from the small and secluded bar, the restaurant was empty until a family sat down as we were leaving. The facilities were decent; clean but dark.
Our young waitress was polite and attentive. She was honest and was able to answer any of our questions.
The food was disappointing. We both had one of the two specials offered that evening. We were giving decent portions. Our dishes didn’t look appetizing nor did they improve our opinion of Cajun food.
In the end, this restaurant was clean and had good service; however, the food was nothing special.
