I agree with Satesh. I have also, coincidentally, eaten lots of Thai food in Chicago and Boston, and I loved this food! I had Tom yum stir fry(i asked for, and got, tofu) and it was GREAT. highly recommended!

Visited this place on 5−12−16 an ordered the Spicy Basil Chicken– Medium Heat(Basil leaf, Thai spices, Bamboo, Onions, Carrots, Red Pepper and Mushrooms $ 11.76 w/taxes) to go. The lady who took my order was nice. My plan was to wait and eat this food later, but it was smelling so good. I dug in right there in the parking lot. Chicken was lightly seasoned, but the veggies and spices made up for that. I ate most of the food, before getting back onto the road. Good food, decent amount, and a fair price.

Stopped in here with a colleague while we were traveling for business. I love thai food and when searching Unilocal,I found that this restaurant was right around the corner… Excellent dinner! Coming from major cities like Boston, and Chicago, I was surprised that in Meridian, MS, I found some of the best thai food I’ve ever had. The service was also excellent. I’ll definitely be coming back upon future work travel.

I guess I’ve just been spoiled by Far Away Places because I just didn’t like Aie’s. I ordered the Pad Thai which was a little greasy and the vegetables taste like they came from the freezer and were nuked 5 minutes before I ordered. If you really want a great authentic Thai experience I would suggest going to Far Away Places first in Marion, they really set the standard for great Thai food

I would give this place zero rating but that’s not an option. Will never be back here again. Worse thai food I ever had in my life. Didn’t complain there cause we are not type to complain where we eat but I don’t see how this place has high ratings on Unilocal.Must never had true authentic thai food before for those giving it high ratings. Only reason we gave this place a shot was reviews on Unilocal.Very very disappointed. Oh and no changing table to change my son so I made due with changing him out in the open on the sofa of the resturant.. glad no one was around because it was one dirty smelly diaper.

We were greeted upon entering, which was nice. Fast and friendly service. With high reviews, not sure if people from Meridian know what real thai food should taste like. I give them props for having a good selection of beers though. We ordered the following: Shrimp Pad Thai– greasy, noodles cut short, needed more beansprouts, very bland Chicken Curry– very small portion, made from cut up chicken breast, extremely salty, loaded with onions, needs more coconut milk Tom Yum Shrimp Fried Rice– only dish I thought was reasonable, love the jumbo shrimp Thai Beef Salad– not your usual thai beef salad, expected a med rare sliced beef on a bed of mix greens, sweet tangy spicy sauce… but presented with huge chunks of beef which tasted like it was marinated in some kind of grillmaster seasoning Spicy Basil Beef– this flank beef sauteed with vegetables was extremely greasy, beef was too chewy Papaya salad– papaya looked and tasted fresh but could use more dried shrimp Cream chese wonton– could of used a little more imitation crab and cheese, fried too hard Lumpia– good Overall, atmosphere and service was great, but the food could sure use some tweaking. With 5 of us eating we boxed pretty much everything.

Meh. Driving from NOLA to Nashville and stopped in Meridian for lunch. It was the only highly-rated restaurant in the town and we are Thai food fanatics, win-win…right? Décor and set up is awkward but it’s a hole-in-the-wall so that’s forgiven and part of the experience. It also has an impressive selection of beers, both Asian and Southern as well as standard domestics. Maybe if I’d had a beer, I could’ve overlooked our server not knowing or bothering to find out the lunch specials. Pretty pricey for a quick lunch! Not a busy place so the food came out immediately. The highlight for me was the coconut soup, though $ 6 for a small bowl is not something I’d pay for again. Limited to chicken or shrimp, my husband and I ordered pad Thai and pad kee mow. Both were bland and overly greasy. It took a considerable amount of soy sauce and pepper flakes to make it edible. How this place got 5 stars is concerning and we will not be back, though we frequently pass through Meridian. One last detail was the dirty pepper condiment bowls, which were sticky to the touch and almost empty when brought to our table. This is one small example of the attention to detail that is lacking throughout the experience. Big disappointment.

First time here and so glad we stopped in. Great fusion of Filipino & Thai. We had lumpia, pad thai, phở, and this great custard that reminds me of flan. Oh and the Thai tea was great too! Highly recommend.

Didn’t have a good experience the first time we went but the owner invited us to come back and give it another try and I’m glad she did. The food tasted great! It was super yummy and was very fresh! I would definitely come back!

This is not really a review so much as a heads up. Our family went to visit the restaurant on Tuesday at 6:50 pm on July 7th and found it closed, despite Unilocal saying it was open. We were disappointed.

This is a quiet gem in the downtown area of Meridian. It is a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere. This is one of my favorite lunch places in town. I love the fact that you can customize the«hotness» of your food. I try to order something different every time I visit and so far, everything has been great.

The better of the two Thai restaurants in Meridian. Friendly wait staff and good food would make me come back when the craving returns.

I just ate here with my boyfriend to grab something quickly while traveling. The staff was very friendly, and we got our food even quicker than expected. We wanted to grab some coffee, and our server informed us that he could have some right out for us(and in to-go cups!!). Everything was priced very reasonably, and our coffees were only $ 1. I’m sure we’ll stop back in if we’re ever in the area! :)

Amazing food and spicy beyond compare(upon request). We had the sweet and sour chicken, spicy basil chicken, and yellow curry. Everything was delicious and we even got to talk to the chef. I highly recommend it and hope to visit again soon myself.

Spring rolls and soup both great. Pad Thai is what I would call Americanized. Tasty but unlike any I’ve ever had before. Number3 hat was just right. Not too hot but there are two more if you really like hot. Fried rice was not as pineapplely as my wife had expected. I also had the roasted coconut juice which was unique. It took awhile to get used to but worth the effort.

Best Thai food I’ve ever had. Pretty good service considering the city of Meridian is locally known to have terrible service. So why didn’t I give it 5 stars then? Well, I couldn’t get a straight view into the kitchen, but it looked as if there was 1 chef and 2 servers working on a busy Friday night shift. Needless to say, it took 30+ minutes to get one of our entrees. Our meals were brought out staggered, my girlfriend was full and I was on my third glass of tea with no food in sight. I would of gave it a 1 star at this point, until I had that awesome food. We’ll definitely go back again, but maybe not at peak hours.

The yellow curry with chicken was delicious! I got a 3⁄5 spice level and it definitely cleared the sinuses but wasn’t too hot. The coconut milk soup with mushrooms was also great — it was supposed to be vegetarian(for my 2 friends) but a single piece of chicken slipped into each of their bowls. We just picked them out and kept eating though, so no harm done. The Thai tea and Thai coffee were also yummy. The service was awesome and everyone was really nice!
