I come here fairly often, and every time, there’s something new for me to be annoyed about. I’ve held back from writing a review because I wanted to believe that it all was a matter of circumstance that altered my experiences at this establishment. Every time I’ve ordered dinner here, this particular bartender (a female with short hair) has been incredibly short with me, and most importantly, she alters the menu according to her convenience. On multiple occasions, I’ve ordered food here, and every time, she changes the menu.
I’d like to think that I’m patient and understanding, but her attitude is deplorable. Last weekend, I walked into the bar and she called last call after not serving me or 3 of my other friends after we sat at the bar in front of her for 5 full minutes. She looks up and says, «…bar’s closed. That’s why the door is locked.» after playing on her phone prior to that engagement.
If she didn’t work there, the bar would be a much better place.

It’s a dive, it’s a bar, it’s a nice divey bar with great food. The house chips are killer. If you don’t like horseradish try ranch or blue cheese. The chips are good with pretty much anything on it. I didn’t love my hotdog. Maybe I’m just tired of hotdogs though. But my mini quesadilla was pretty rockin’. The waitresses are friendly, helpful and easy on the eyes. The atmosphere is … well it’s main a bar. I do want to go back and try a few more things on the menu. Maybe even get myself a big girl drink.

The drinks are watered down. The service, bartender makes you not wanna come back. I went with my girlfriend and our service was no good, we tried for chips again the next week. Same service. We will not be returning !!! Chips are great, that’s why I gave one star.

We used to come in once a week. Forget it!!! The RUDEST service by the manager. She needs a serious attitude adjustment. I really enjoyed coming here until one night she must have had a seriously bad day and took it out on my boyfriend and me. I go to the Red Room around the corner now.

Always a winner. My Wife and I go here regularly and enjoy a drink and good pub food after a long day at work. Colleen runs a tight ship and knows her business! The wraps are excellent (slamming Sammy and bacon chicken are my favorites), my wife enjoys the chiclets. Steamed cheeseburger nachos are unreal. the quesadilla huge. Great service, always clean and so close and convenient. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed. Support local small business!

This is a pretty nice spot for a drink and some pub grub don’t looks for a real meal here this is a burger and wrap place with some pretty good apps. Good pours on the drinks seem very friendly to me!

Such a chill place to be. On Friday/​Saturday nights it can get a little crazy, but either way it’s a cool place to be with friends. They probably serve the best steamed cheeseburgers in Connecticut, and the staff are very knowledgable and attentive. Been coming here for a few months, and I always enjoy myself. One of the bartenders, who is a woman, actually kicked a guy out because he was pestering my friend and I. I feel extremely comfortable here, and I know the staff has my back.

Unfortunately I cannot allow my previous review for the place to stand. Unprofessional and overpriced for the «quality» of service and food you receive. I don’t think anyone should frequent a place that under appreciates every single person on their staff, or patrons for that matter. Plenty of other places in Meriden worth supporting.

I actually give 5 stars to the wrap I had but everything else about my experience brings it down to 3. I had the Slammin’ Sammy wrap with grilled steak, shoe string onions, roasted red peppers, mushrooms (lots of them!) and Thousand Island dressing. It had the perfect amount of dressing and mushrooms in every bite.

On a slightly different note, the servers were attentive but not friendly at all. Our waitress gave us attitude when we said we needed more time to look at the menu. The side of pasta salad, that came with the meal, was really bland. It was just noodles with a very light dressing.
There’s a large amount of bar space and an outdoor deck with seating. The main parking lot is in the back with a few spots out front. I probably won’t be spending any more «quality time» here, but I’ll gladly take the Slammin’ Sammy to go!

This is the bar that I come with friends for a more chilled night. The very few times that I have ordered any food has never disappointed me. I highly recommend the nachos and wraps. Also, I’m not sure of her name, but one of the bartenders makes the BEST grape vodka sour :)

Steamed Cheeseburger is worth the trip. Thick slice of melted cheddar and a fresh Ciabatta roll with pickle and macaroni salad for $ 5.25. What’s better than that… nice craft brews on tap too

Went back again and brought a few friends, one of them never had a steamed cheeseburger and now she is hooked. Extra cheese please and the roll they put it on is the best, I usually pick the bun apart because it is too big and too much bread, their bun is just perfect and I ate ALL the bread too, it is like a chibata bread bun. I also had the fried pickles this time and sometimes they are salty other places I have ordered them, but they were cooked perfect with a yummy dipping sauce. Colleen wasn’t there this time but the girls were nice and attentive.
