Sarah and the rest of the family at «Dolce» always greet with a smile. They take a great deal of interest in their customers, knowing how you like your coffee in the morning & how you like your sandwich or salad at lunch. Regular customers soon feel like they are family.

If you are in Meriden looking for a quick lunch, this is a decent place to go– as there are not many places in Meriden that are locally owned and have freshly prepared foods. I haven’t been here in a while and it looks like they finally narrowed down their menu and have started serving real chicken on their salads which is nice. I enjoy their salads the best. Have not had any of their coffee but heard it is good. It’s a bit pricey for what it is, but it is in Meriden and it’s a good enough place to stop.

Nothing special. Nothing bad. there seemed to be a couple of regulars which is always nice to see. Nice place to spot by while waiting for the meriden amtrak trains! I recommend the toasted bagels. The baked goods didn’t seem to look appetizing… 2 bagels with 2 snapples were ~$ 7. Will go again if I find myself waiting for the train.

Love this place! Lots of different sandwich options, my favorite being the cran-turkey. Definitely the best place to go when in downtown Meriden.

Plenty of gourmet options for sandwiches, daily specials, free wifi… I had a reuben sandwich, which was tasty, but needed a little more of everything between the bread. It seemed a little light. They also charge $ 1 for tea refills, which is a bit pricey.
