Enjoying my first mocha from here, nonfat no whip and amazing flavor! Would come back in an instant. It is on the hill directly across from Lewis & Gibson dentist. Having a pretzel roll too because you can’t find a good salt bagel anymore. Roll is perfect doughy inside, slightly chewy salty outside. Love it! Wish I had a little cream cheese schmear with it. A fan of New Orleans, I Want to come try the muffaletta next.

This guy who runs the place is pretty cool. Best hidden place for a Mocha because of the 3 types of chocolate he has. If you get stuck on the I-90 either way due to traffic, dip in real quick and get those pretzel rolls.

Inconspicuous from the outside but so terrific what’s inside! And what is inside? Pretzel Rolls! The american equivalent to German(swabian) Laugenbrötchen! Unbelievable! OMG tastes like home! ;D Not that I’m stuck on german food and stuff, but from time to time it’s nice to taste something familiar. And I can tell you those Pretzel Rolls are VERY close to the originals! I don’t really get why they are used to be eaten with mustard, but okay, as long as one enjoys it that way! I prefer them with plain, unsalted butter or with liverwurst. Hmmm… Also the guy who bakes and sells them is very friendly and so nice! I even got some pretzel roll to taste before I bought some. And I have to say that the Hot Chocolate I got was pretty good too. Definitely a place I will return, and return, and return, …

Pre-ordered some pretzel rolls for an Oktoberfest party we were hosting. Shawn(Sean?) had them freshly baked and ready to go in the morning, and even gave a great discount for calling in the bulk order ahead of time. Most importantly, the rolls were delicious and everyone at our party agreed. Our first experience here, but it won’t be the last.

the guy who runs this place is the nicest person ever! i came in wanting to get some of their amazing pretzel rolls(which are, reputation-is-rightly-deserved soso good). it was around noon and they were sold out. the guy said that because he had some extra dough leftover from his morning bake, he was willing to make some fresh rolls if i was willing to stick around for 30 minutes or so. after deliberating for all of one minute, i told him i’d be back in an hour if i could get a few rolls. boom — and hour later i’m in my car stuffing a fresh-baked pretzel roll into my mouth like a rabid animal. i mean, what place has ever offered to make you fresh bread on the fly because he sold out of what you were looking for? this place is the absolute BEST. oh yeah, and their pretzel rolls are seriously so good. the pretzel is perfectly malty with just the right amount of salty crunch. it’s seriously the best i’ve had, even beating out the pretzel bread from röckenwagner bakery in santa monica, ca(previously my favorite pretzel bread ever). can you tell i like pretzel bread? mmmm. yes.

Made from scratch excellence! Had the Branston Pickle and Cheese sandwich the first time which is a real British favorite. Tried the Ham and Swiss this time around which was just as good. This was our Second visit and we can’t wait to come back.

The pretzel rolls and mustard sauce were SO good! The spicy Panini was delicious as well, and the customer service was great. I would highly recommend.

Super delicious mocha. This is not some sugary syrup squirted into the bottom of the cup and swirled around. Chocolate and milk are steamed together for proper melting then add two hot shots. You need a lot of ice to cool this down. Very pleasant location set back from the road. The building has a narrow veranda with 4 tables overlooking the relatively quiet street. Coming from the east on a bike thank goodness café is located near the bottom of an imposing hill.

I meant to write a review for this place the minute I got in my car but I completely forgot! Although this little café is bit difficult to find they have some delicious food! I grew up on Mercer Island and in all honestly, the island lacks good food. This place is a hidden gem, literally. Mercer Island should be proud to have such a great establishment in the area. I picked up a breakfast sandwich, goat cheese and fig jam sandwich, and a clam chowder for the road. The goat cheese and fig jam sandwich was TODIEFOR. The other two items I bought were also winners! They also have pretzel rolls– which were a huge hit during my high school years! Stop by– you will not be disappointed.

Probably the best mocha I have ever had, hands down. Imported chocolate? Yes please. Small shop so theres Limited seating makes it hard to sit at times, but most of the time its pretty scarce. Definitely stop by to get their mocha if you ever get the chance, you wont regret it.

Buy local! Great little place down the street from the Dr’s office. Venture over the hill and through the park. Give the pretzel buns a go when warmed up. Very small space, big on great service. Monkey do: CAFFELATTE — hot and delicious HAM, EGG&CHEESEPANINI — hit the spot between the kid & i APPLEJUICE

Had the Caprese and Reuben sandwiches which were both delicious. This little hole in the wall place is worth visiting. Service is friendly… a bit slow but they are working on systems to make the paninis faster…:). Look forward to trying their other sandwiches in the future.

Just discovered this hidden gem on The Rock. I had a panini with the perfect amount of fig jam, goat cheese and prosciutto while the boy enjoyed a perfect butter croissant and«the best vanilla italian soda» he ever had. On an island that is sorely lacking in tasty lunch places we were thrilled to find this place. Just seconds away from the park pn the lid, this will gor sure be our new«go to spot» on the Island. Can’t wait to try the pretzel rolls next time and check out their claims on the«best mocha in town». Real swiss chocolate. Yum.

This place is a little gem. I ordered the Branston Pickle Cheddar panini($ 4.99) and a double tall latte($ 2.75+whatever the extra shit was). The latte was velvety and delicious. The panini was an intensely crunchy heavenly little thing, with a sweet and sour chutney kind of spread and a fat layer of melty white cheddar. I savored every bite. Highly recommend and will return as soon as possible!

Great little place on Mercer for a coffee and a panini. Enjoyed the Muffaletta, the pretzel roll and the latte. The place is small so it was nice to come at an off-hour and be able to get a little table to enjoy the food. Note: the sandwich is about $ 5 and it’s on the small side. Coffee was good and the pretzel roll definitely needs to be had with their yummy mustard.

Driving down I 90 and I said navigate to café on Mercer Island to get away from the traffic. And it brought me to this wonderful place on Mercer Island only open since February. As I waited for my coffee. delivery all the pretzel rolls showed up yummy. Fresh! Paninis of all kinds and as I watch her make it she didn’t just put the coppa on my panni. It was like art. A gem on a Mercer Island. Sure to comeback. Parking is ample. Regarding the pretzel rolls, I said when I saw them I’m just going to eat them plain but she said yiu have to try them with mustard, I was not convinced, but she was right, it makes it a better experience. Thank you!
