Queen Merced Nail & Spa

I had really bad service when i got my eyebrows done. The wait was 20 minutes but she said only 5 minutes. When she finally got to me i told her i wanted my eyebrows thick with an arc. She said ok but she did what she wanted which was very thin and uneven. One had and arc and the other just round. When i told her that she messed up big time she said she didn’t and that she was the best in Merced. And i told her that this was a really horrible job and we asked another customer and she said yes the eyebrow shape is not even for both eyes and she only gave me 2dollars back. The eyebrow shape she gave me was nice but did not match the other one which makes it look horroble. I know that i am never coming back here the lady name ia trish stay away from her.

I see I’m not the only one that won’t be returning. I called ahead to ask about coming in for a mani/​pedi. When I arrived, I was told to «go do some shopping next door or at Hobby Lobby» and come back in 20 min. Ok, not a total deal-​breaker. I returned 20 – 25 min later to find myself standing at the check-​in counter again, not being greeted for a few minutes while 2 men worked on pedi’s for 5 ladies sitting in chairs. A lady came out from the back, and had me sit in one of the chairs and started the lukewarm water going for me to soak in. Then she disappeared into the back again… about 10 min later she came out again and I caught her attention, and asked how much longer it may be till my pedicure could start. She looked at the men working on the other ladies and told be ‘only 5 – 10 more min’. At this point I’m thinking… I shopped for 25 min, will have soaked for 20 minutes… this is no longer relaxing or enyoyable, I’m out. I put-​on my flip flops and left feeling like I wasted my time. I won’t return… there are way too many other salons in the area that can do a mani/​pedi without all the wasted time and hassle.

The employees are really nice and were able to accomodate 3 people. I felt their salon was clean and that they did nice work. The only thing I didn’t like was that I wanted acrylic toenails with colored acrylic. They only had 3 or 4 colors to choose from. I’ve had my acrylics on for two weeks and two of the nails have lifted. So while I would use them again for a regular mani or pedi I am going back to my regular girl for my acrylics.

This was the only place opened on New Years Eve, which was a plus. Mike was there alone and had to call in the troops because there were 4 of us who wanted services. I enjoyed my Deluxe pedi and also got a manicure. The manager who came was very helpful; she offered to give us tea or hot chocolate and to order our lunch so it would be ready by the time we were done. We politely declined, but took her up on one of her restaurant recommendations.

After a 45 minute wait (that was supposed to be 15) and a trip to their very dirty bathroom we finally left without our pedicure. I was shocked to see how many women were lined up soaking, waiting for their service while the employees wondered around instead of waiting on them. One women was there soaking before we arrived and still sat waiting when we left. won’t go back!

I have been to Queen Nails a few times in the last few months. I always get a pedicure done and they have been by different people, but everyone has always done a great job. The prices are reasonable and I feel good Evey time I leave there!
I have gotten a full set once before and they were pretty and after 3 weeks I had to take them off and it was difficult so I had no problems with them staying on. This was a concern for me because I work in a restaurant and was afraid they wouldn’t last.
The younger lady who is usually walking around is the owner I believe, but she is always checking up on the customer as well as her employee to make sure they are doing a good job. She’s very sweet and always chats everybody up. The other employees are on the quieter side but I don’t mind because of the good work they do

this place is amazing. they always do a great job, the prices are reasonable, and they’re super nice. they also don’t charge extra for little things, like a regular manicure vs. french manicure, or white tip acrylics vs. glitter tip acrylics, which, as far as i’m concerned, is just good business.
