My recent experience with McNamara’s was very disappointing. I brought a Christmas stocking in to be embroidered with a single name. It took two weeks & five trips to the store (they lost the original order) to get it done. When I finally picked the stocking up after two attempts to get the name on straight, the name is still off-​center. You can see the stitching indentations from the previous failed attempts. The stocking is dirty and looks terrible. I am embarrassed to hang it up. Maybe they are good for sports embroidering but not for any specialty item. I was over-​charged for a poor quality job and a lot of hassle. I will not be going back!

Great store! They have everything you need for sports, carry items for all the local school in stock, and can personalize shirts. Friendly and helpful staff, also helps support the community! Highly recommend McNamara Sports for anything from socks in your school colors to volleyball a to mouth guards to sweatshirts to paint ball merch to Oakley’s!

I’m a fan of small businesses, and this is definitely the sort of store I’d bring business to. They only offer specific items depending on the season, but the staff was still kind enough to look in their backroom to see if they had what I was looking for. (They didn’t.) Prices on everything looked about right for what I see in other stores. The only problem I’d say for this place is location; it was a pain in the ass to find, for some reason!!!

Very helpful, friendly staff. They are great with custom orders. Over the years, we have bought skis, clothing, stadium chairs, baseball and football equipment, sunglasses, cleats, sandals, boots. We have been happy with all of our purchases.
