Ordered flowers for my mother for her birthday to be sent to her work they were delivered on time and she love them. plus side the flowers lasted for quite a while! Will order again from gene the florets. Very satisfied!!!

I called long distance on 5⁄8 and talked to a very bubbly woman to place an order for Mothers Day. Unfortunately, Mom never received her flowers. I don’t know what happened to them. I have not been billed for anything(yet?) so this has only been disappointing and somewhat embarrassing.

Worst experience ever… Do not i say not order from this florist ever… Put my order in for Mother’s Day Thurs and the website show a different price pay that and the shop had called me and say it was the wrong price and charge me a extra 10 dollars and I pay that not only that my flowers I order for my mom never got delivery all day my sister waited for it. Called them 3x and they say they will call the delivery guy and that their computer was crash and that my process didn’t go Thur until sat but when I check my bank it say that they had already taken money out of my account since Friday. The lady I had talk too say they had over 300 customer orders and crap and the last time I called her and talk to her she say that all her drivers went home already and she say that will personal drive herself to take the flowers to my mother and of course that was a lied never show up with my Mother’s Day flowers to my mother at all!!!

1. The Easter lily that was to have been delivered to the church on Thursday did not get delivered until Saturday. The office was closed and the delivery person ‘gave’ the lily to someone who happened to be in the chapel.(Someone from the church alerted me to this incidence.) The was displayed on the altar for Easter services in memory of our parents only b/c some wonderful church lady saw to it. xox 2. An Easter bouquet to be delivered on Saturday was not delivered.(Paid extra for Sat. del.) Despite two cars in the driveway, the delivery person rang the doorbell but did not call the recipients’. They were home all day, preparing for Easter. 3. Just got off the phone with a(very rude) woman working at Gene the Florist. She could not tell me when the owner would be in. Really? When I asked why the lily wasn’t delivered on Thursday, she said that many workers had canceled and couldn’t deliver. When I asked about the undelivered Easter bouquet, she said, «I rang the doorbell.» 4. My credit card was charged $ 10 more than the confirmation price for the lily. When I called to discuss this, a woman said, «The online photo is of a 6″ lily in a basket. We have an 8″ lily in a ceramic pot.» I said that the 6″ lily would be fine BUT rather than receive a credit on my card, asked that the $ 10 be put towards the Easter bouquet; the bouquet that was not delivered!!! TODAY, I called to request — and received — a $ 10 credit. Gene the Florist had a wonderful reputation in the 80’s and 90’s. It’s been many years since I have lived in Merced and I thought I’d give them my business. I will be be using Merced Floral in the future.
