Titans Gym

I love Titans because it is a serious gym. I can find everything I need and generally it is never crowded. The people attending and working the gym are kind and respectful which is a huge factor for me when choosing a place to exercise.

Beautiful gym! Cardio upstairs with weight training downstairs. Perfect for beginning lifters and power lifters! Right in mentor Ohio off of route 20. Stop by for only 5 $ on a day membership! Next door is fitness first supplements! Perfect set up for the every day gym person!

Titans gym has been my workout place of choice for many, many years. I give it 5 stars because the free weights are second to no one in Northeast Ohio. the dumbbell section has everything you need. and there are fantastic trainers like Erin and GI Jayne, who teaches a mean cross training and weight lifting class. very intense and highly anaerobic!

Want pampering? Want friendly staff with name tags? Want a great massage or smoothie bar? Then go somewhere else. Just a solid gym for a good workout.

I have been a member of Titans Gym for 2+ years and am on a corporate account through my work. Last week I had the primary account holder start the paperwork to have my girlfriend added to the account. Titans told him to have her stop in and finish her portion of the paperwork. So my girlfriend went there today to complete everything and spoke with Geoff (the owner) who said there was no record of anything being done and proceeded to be rude and literally ignore her.
I then called Titans right after she told me how she was treated and spoke with a nice employee (I believe Ryan) that said he would look into it and apologized for what happened.
Now this is what blows my mind. I get a call from Geoff and he tells me the primary account holder had to come back and be there while she signs because there was no record of paperwork from last week. I then voice my complaint to him as this type of thing always occurs at Titans. Everything is always disorganized and no one ever knows what’s going on. Geoff then gets very rude and closed our corporate account on the spot and said «Go to Fitworks I don’t want you as customers!» Wow are you kidding me?! I have never experienced such rude and pathetic behavior from a business. I just want the public to be aware of how Geoff treats his customers and to not give him your business. There are much better, cleaner and friendlier gyms in Cleveland.

Titans is a solid gym. It’s a bit pricey, and geared towards body builders as the name implies. If you can handle that, this is a weightlifters dream. It’s 2 stories, the first story is your basic cardio, with a health food café. The Café is called Titans Café, and it’s the only place I’ve found so far to get protein shakes made on the fly. Downstairs there are about 10 more treadmills, a room for boxing, one for spin, and a huge open weight area. The weight area really has anything you could possibly need. There’s a locker-​room also, with a bring your own lock policy.
I tried a class or two here and the instructors were pretty great! Also, if you’re into late night workouts your ID card will scan you in after hours. Again the food at the café is great, the staff is nice, and this is pretty much my favorite place to go work out. It’s a solid 4-​star gym, geared toward body builders but friendly to all.

This review is really about the café (Titan Up Café) that is attached to the Gym. Although the gym is great too, the café… OMG … is amazing. They have great vegan, vegetarian, and meat options. SO fresh and healthy. Some day Mentor may get a Whole Foods but until then this is the place. Breakfast and lunch options. I do hope people discover this place. There should be a line out the door everyday of the week for lunch, it’s that good.
