The worst hair salon ever. The owner is very unprofessional calling me a liar because i did not like my grey hair die i paid $ 110.00 dollars for. I asked them to please fix my hair because i am very unhappy with my greyish silver color and being thirty years old who wants grey. The owner made me feel horrible and uncomfortable to ever get my hair done again. Very rude and horrible customer service. I will be contacting better business bureau and hopefully getting my money back through civil court. The owner never apoligized and makes you feel like a liar. Seriously, i never ask for a redue but my family, coworkers, and friends tell me my hair looks horrible and like an old grandma. Never go to Jenifer and company in Mentor, ohio.

I have been going to Jennifer and Co. for years to get my hair done and I’ve never had a problem. So I decided to try a shellac manicure at the salon. I got a French manicure done last Saturday for a wedding that I’m in this weekend. The manicure experience was great and all of the nails looked good… until this morning.
It’s only 5 days later and two of my nails have completely chipped and one is lifting and will most likely chip by the end of the day. I called Jennifer and Co. to let them know the situation and asked if they could fit me in to repair the three nails. The receptionist very rudely told me that they were booked for the day and that I should try their other location on Munson Road. I called up the other location and they too were booked and the receptionist told me to try going to a different salon to get my nails fixed.
I understand salons are booked, but considering I already paid good money to have my nails done and the shellac manicure barely lasted as long as a traditional manicure would have, you think they would have squeezed me in somewhere to do an emergency repair service, ESPECIALLY since I explained to them that I’m in a wedding this weekend and the only day I have free is today to have them fixed.
So thank you receptionist, I HAVe decided to go to another salon and I will never get my nails done at Jennifer and Co. again. And you can be sure that I will tell all of my friends to never waste their money at your salon either.

Beware of broken massage chairs! They don’t seem to think it’s a problem for their hour and a half spa pedicure clients.
I am very disappointed in Jennifer and Company as an establishment. My massage chair was broken (one of my favorite parts of a spa pedicure) and the frozen knobs were poking into my lower back the whole time – I finally asked for a pillow to cushion them – and they did NOTHING other than say, «Sorry. This chair has been temperamental.»
When I finally asked about it at the front desk (the nail tech never mentioned it to them), the response I received was, «Well, we were already offering a special deal today.» Yes, because you had open appointment times to fill, not because your equipment was broken. I guess the discounted price tag justifies a sub-​standard experience!
To be fair, the nail tech did a good job with my toes. I just can’t believe I even had to ASK for some type of response to this issue, let alone that I was essentially told, «Too bad.»
P. S. The manager at the desk also mentioned they weren’t going to leave a chair VACANT unless it was leaking water or something like that. So, they are booking appointments with full knowledge that some of their clients will be using a broken massage chair.

I’ve been seeing Dawn at the North salon (Munson Rd) for more than ten years now! She’s the best! Not only is she an amazing colorist, but she also gives great cuts and is always up to date on the newest styles. I most definitely recommend!

This is my go to salon! I recently moved out to California but whenever I come home for the holidays or on vacation, I make a great effort to schedule an appointment! My go to stylist is Donnie and he can do wonders! If you are looking for someone to take your hair to the next level, he’s your man.
On top of that, I greatly appreciate the company’s positive customer service. I really like how they call prior to your appointment to kindly remind you. In addition, they always greet me and ask me if I want anything to drink such as coffee or water. I also love how clean the salon feels whenever I am there.
This is a salon you can truly invest in.

I look forward to going to Jennifer & Co for every appt. I have been with my hair stylist, Jen Hess for over 15 years and love her to death. The setting is relaxed, the staff professional and they have great magazines while your under the dryer! Jen is truly a color expert and I always get compliments on her work. Appointment times are kept – I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes. Would recommend this salon highly.

Wonderful service! You walk in and the staff happily greets you. Offers so many great services! I got my hair done with Jeff and nails done by Judy and they both do fantastic work! I definitely will be going back soon!

Jennifer & Company is my favorite hair stylists in Lake County! I went to Jennifer’s for five years when I lived up north. What turned me on to h was how she treated her staff. She used to bring them to my restaurant for a girls night out and they used to have so much fun. It was after her first dinner that I decided to check out her salon. it was quite a hike but so worth the drive. I loved the feeling of how you were treated when you walked into the salon as well as the service I got. the stylists are all well trained. After living in Florida for two years I would love to pay her prices again! Would definitely recommend Jennifer & Company!
