I came here after not having seen my usual dentist for a year as I am new to the area. I do not drink soda or eat candy. I brush daily with prescription fluoride toothpaste and had no symptoms or dental pain or odor. I am 26 years old and have only had one cavity in my life. Dr. Visger was very nice and her staff was very welcoming. Her office is beautiful as well. Scheduling was easy. I had my teeth cleaned by a hygienist and I had x-Rays done, then dr visger came in and told me I have, not exaggerating here, 14 cavities that would need to be filled. She did not inspect my mouth at all– simply looked at small shadows on the X-ray and told me that she might as well fill them now as they will only get worse. She set out a plan to do the work in 2 – 3 sessions as I needed so many fillings. I have been to two other dentists since(one being my usual dentist back home) and have since had X-rays done again, I both dentists I have seen agree I have NO cavities. I would not trust dr visger, I will never return, and I have half a mind to report her to the medical board for unethical practices. In short: I would strongly recommend you find your dental care elsewhere.
