This might be the most charming inn or bed-​and-​breakfast I have stayed in in many years. From the moment we arrived to a welcoming basket containing our keys to the heartfelt hug as we left. Incredible food and rich with fascinating furnishing, many with stories behind them if you ask. The host is a charming and fascinating woman capable of endless conversation but who understands how to give you space. The best review I can give is that we checked in to stay over night and ended up staying a full weekend largely to spend a little more relaxing time at the inn. We met several others guests on our first visit and almost all had stayed many times. It feels like an extended family. We will be back!

Very gracious hostess, however, the price is high considering the lack of amenities. Not enough soap, tp, no extra towels, no shampoo, etc. Bed was hard, room seemed stale, linens did too! Now, the good part – OUTSTANDING breakfast– several casseroles, fresh fruit, apple cobbler, homemade biscuits & gravy, hot coffees, teas, & juices. PORCH-​the best swing, rockers, immaculate wrap-​a-​round porch! WIFI-​free in-​room & on porch! HOSTESSES– the friendliest, most helpful people who make you feel you are at home! 3 Stars because of the good stuff!
