Bartender Zues is #1 in the city. Best music, bartenders are fast, they support local events. Favorite bar in town.

My favorite bar in Menomonie. Bartenders have all been nice whenever I have gone. Drinks are good, and they have Guinness and Spotted Cow on tap(definitely a plus in my book). Can’t yet comment on the food yet, as I have only been there for drinks, but from what I have seen its a limited food menu. Also a great place to go on your birthday!

This place rocks. The fact that the menu is limited is a positive. They are freakishly good at making the items on the menu. And just when you think your whole day is shot because the slaw has broccoli(we know that Wisconsinites loathe anything that did not have parents) bam — there’s bacon in it! Abbey(from the Abbey) is the coolest Abbey I know. Much cooler than any other Abbey, including Westminster and Downton. My dog enjoys the back patio where she can chill and dream about all the wonderful smells that waft from the kitchen. The sandwiches are amazing. The drinks are made well and the free chaser is like a prize my liver didn’t know it won.

Nothing special. Drinks were okay. Didn’t care for bartender. Food wasn’t anything special. I was full but not satisfied. Nice clean bar and area. Will only come here for the drinks.

I love the atmosphere and décor of this place. The server, bartender, hostess, and cook of the evening Esther was outstanding! They have a great selection of cocktails available and a nice little menu too. It is very limited but what they do offer is good quality. We had some cheese stuffed pretzels and they come with some seasoned sour cream and also a honey mustard type of dipping sauce. I would rather have cheese dipping sauce but i applaud the effort of doing something slightly different.

We found The Abbey after we found ourselves locked out of The Barrel Room(a wine bar?) at 10:30pm on a Saturday night. One of our more polytechnical Nephews said: «The Abbey has $ 9 bottles of wine». Well Alright. Found a nice long table right in front for our party of 6 under one of the many HUGE wide screen TVs so we could also watch the hockey game. SCORE. Didn’t like the Merlot much but DID like the screwtop Cab and locked into that one, plus YES! $ 9. SCORE. There is a very nice back deck and FREE popcorn, addictingly good. Prices were reasonable, clean, well run. There was no waiter service and I think that could be a problem if it was busier, but it was pretty quick. Pretty girlz def get much faster service and they should. The very nice ID checker even loaded our popcorn up once, THANKS. Can’t comment on the food, but everything we experienced was good. We are fans and will be back for that $ 9 screw top Cab, yummy FREE popcorn and back deck whenever we are in town.

Staff seems like they aren’t trained well. My friend got a bloody mary and loved it but there was no ice in it. The menu is very small right now but the pulled pork is absolutely to die for.
