First time visit on Friday nite, traveled from Eau Claire to watch HS Bball game and thought we would try something new. Service was fast and prices reasonable. I had the chile verde and my husband had enchiladas cancun. Both were tasty… the chile verde had a little kick and there was so much food I had to bring about half home to enjoy later. We will stop again the next time in town.

Excellent food for a good price. Also super fast. We were in and out within 40 minutes. Seafood Vallarta was delicious. Pork carnitas had very tender pork.

For off the highway sort of fair, this place was good. It’s part of a somewhat depressing strip mall, but don’t let that scare you off. The food is delicious and well crafted, and the atmosphere inside is quite nice. Been here twice and left satisfied both times.

Easily one of my favorite places to eat in menomonie. The food is great, I recommend the chicken chimi and the nachos fajitas. It’s almost a crime to come here and not get a margarita! They are delicious. A few of the guys that work here give amazing service and are very friendly so they are also a reason we keep coming back here to eat.

There are an assortment of mexican restaurant choices in Menomonie, none of which are listed on Unilocal, ironically. Los Cabos must have moved locations, as Google still thinks it is south of town. It is now located across from Wal-Mart, in the strip mall that is shared by Subway, Caribou, etc. The ambience is nice — well decorated with tropical«south of the border» décor and furniture. The food was fairly good, but somewhat expensive(the«bargain» entrees are $ 8, while the normal entrees are $ 10+). I ordered a combo platter w/a tamale, a chile relleno, and a taco. The taco meat was well flavored and tasted of good quality and the relleno was a bit on the sweet side, but good. The tamale did not taste authentic at all, so I would probably avoid those. The refried beans were great — very homemade. They have a children’s menu and plenty of seating, and a homemade salsa that was a nice addition to the complimentary chips. They also served a strange, sweet«cream sauce» with the chips, that was a nice addition to just«chips and salsa». I’d definitely return, but for those prices, I’d expect a slightly better quality meal.
