The creek was a nice walk. It was unfortunate that the water is gone. But nonetheless it was a nice walk!

wow, a creek listed on Unilocal!according to the map, this creek runs originates in palo alto, at searsville lake, runs through palo alto and east menlo park, and eventually connects to the bay. i have run along this creek many a time while running along the baylands nature preserve and bay trail in east palo alto and menlo park. since there aren’t many people around, running along this creek is quiet and peaceful, which gives me time to think. when i’m not knocking out my miles along this creek, i could definitely see myself coming back with a blanket and just sitting on the banks of the creek, enjoying a peaceful moment. great hidden gem on the peninsula!

I found this little creek one day as I was riding the Caltrain down to Mountain View. I have a thing for creeks so we finally drove down here to check it out. There are trouts and other fish if you look carefully. The creek dries up during the winter but started filling up in Spring. Getting down to the creek from street level is a bit tricky. Wear hiking shoes or at least sneakers. There are trails that other people have made.
