This guy knows what he’s doing! Takes care of everything for you and only calls you when he needs you. Other than that, hire him for all your real estate needs! He has a huge network of people. I had my house sold without even putting it up on the market and got one of the highest value in the area as of today!

Lawrence helped me a buy a duplex in January of 2015. It was my first purchase. It was an overwhelmingly positive experience.
Lawrence is extremely available and responsive. If I sent him a property that I was interested in seeing, he would work to set up a showing as soon as possible. He’d always be available over text or phone, even on the weekends and at night. He drove from Menlo Park to Oakland many times so that we could go look at places.
He’s also very knowledgeable and understanding. As we approached a particular step in the process (eg. submitting an offer), he’d walk me through what was going to happen and what I would need to do. Inevitably I would have questions, which he would answer directly or seek the answers for. Over time he gained a good feel for the things that were important to me in this purchase, which would be reflected in our discussions.
Lawrence is also a great sounding board. For example, if I was going to submit an offer, we’d discuss the various factors (eg. condition, size, location etc) to arrive at the offer. Sometimes these discussions took some time and he was always helpful and patient.
He’s also very good with the quantitative stuff. If I found a place that I liked, he’d send me comparable listings in the area, as well as help me break down things like cost per unit and other relevant analyses.
He’s also just really easy to work with. Lawrence is very friendly and easy going. This is important because you end up spending a good amount of time with your agent. After we closed, he even took me out to a great lunch!
Lawrence is a great real estate agent. I highly recommend his services.

We bought a house with the help of Lawrence in late 2014. We could not have had a better experience! Lawrence was awesome to work with. Incredibly knowledgable, very patient, and very flexible. Lawrence put up with our crazy schedule and our constant need to have questions answered. He also helped us with referrals for lenders, inspectors, contractors and architects, all of whom were likewise great to work with. Lawrence got us a great deal and the whole process ran smoothly with him at the wheel. Would work with him again and would wholeheartedly recommend him to others!
And he also put up with our toddler joining us at all the showings/inspections/signings…so that’s a bonus!

looking for a home was easy and minimal stress when i worked with lawrence ko. he sat me down initially, asking about what i was looking for and within days, i was in his system of automated emails that would send me listings with criteria that i had given him. whenever anything piqued my interest, i would simply give him a ring (or email) to schedule a time and day to check out the property. when i did find a property that i wanted, lawrence would fill out document (s)/contract that needed to be submitted to the listing agent. he was very knowledgeable and would come up with strategies that made the offer as strong as possible. and to make it even EASIER, he would drive to where i was to have the stuff signed. i didn’t even have to travel!
after working with lawrence on several deals (buying & selling), i must say, this guy is an awesome agent. he knows his stuff, and is very thorough and diligent. and for first time buyers, he will spend the time to explain again (and again… and again if necessary) if there’s anything you don’t understand. so there’s no need to just nod «ok» when you’re not sure what something means.
