Harley Brown Equestrian

Wonderful to be part of the Harley Brown Equestrian team — a huge thank you to Harley and Olivia and the whole team at HBE!
We are a 3 horse family! Both our boys (age 11 and 9) ride and I have quickly seen amazing improvement in their skills — but most importantly, the boys are having so much fun. This is a family-​friendly barn — not just for kids, but adults too. I’ve seen marked improvement in my own confidence and skills. Both Harley and Olivia are great teachers and, for example, I’m getting the tools that I need to find better distances to fences. As a result, my horse and I are both having so much more fun in lessons!
When we first arrived at the barn, Harley and Olivia took the time to evaluate our riding, our horses, and understand our goals. Their encouraging approach to teaching builds on our natural strengths — not an ever-​changing laundry list of things to fix. They are respectful to all their clients inside/​outside the arena. And they have a sense of humor!
Harley and Olivia are not only tip top teachers but great riders and horse trainers too. It was lovely to come back from vacation to find our happy horses fitter, stronger and more balanced than ever. It’s a huge benefit to work closely with people who have so many years of competitive success themselves at the highest levels in the world. Our 2-​legged and 4-​legged family has lots of fitness and/​or stretching (heels down!) homework outside the arena too. This has been the first time that I haven’t felt hopeless in the saddle coming back after a vacation.
We also had to replace one of our much-​loved leased ponies. Harley and Olivia found a terrific, small first horse — a schoolmaster with tons of show experience and a great fit for our 11-​year old son. Their common-​sense advice, approach and experience was invaluable during what I have previously found to be a not-​so-​fun (sometimes stressful) horse trying/​dealing/​leasing process.
HBE is truly the A-​team whether you are beginning to ride or are already a keen horse show competitor.

I’m so happy riding and boarding my horse with Harley Brown Equestrian! I’ve boarded at many places before and we’re so pleased with the quality of service at this barn. Both Harley and Olivia are very kind, friendly, and extremely professional. They’ve taken excellent care of my horse, whom I never worry about.
Lessons and training with Harley and Olivia are by far the best I’ve had. I’ve noticed a marked improvement of my own riding. They’ve taken the time to get to know me, my goals, and my horse to tailor a program that’s suitable for me. I’ve seen the same outcome for all levels of riders at the barn, those with their own horses, and those just starting out with lesson horses.
