Nice family run business by an Asian lady, she is the owner and will do everything to satisfy the customer. Like people say, the customer is always right. The older man is not the best at customer service but he gets the job done. I notice that it’s better to come in the afternoon when the lady is there especially for alterations and things like that. I had a vest and bow tie custom made for my prom since my date’s dress color was very bright. I got it back in 3 days and was charged a very fair amount, cheaper than it would’ve cost to rent a tux and bow tie, if I had found the color. I’m definitely coming back here to get my pants altered to be more slim fitting.

I’ve been satisfied with the service here over the last couple of years — the insides of shirt collars retain dirt over time(though are cleaned when brought to their attention), but on the whole, it’s good enough. This morning the tie I picked up had exactly the same stain as when I dropped it off for cleaning. He didn’t point it out — I did. He didn’t offer to re-clean it — I think he was saying that the stain was irremovable. So I replied — nicely, I think — that I didn’t want to pay for a cleaning that hadn’t been done. Anyway, at this point he threw a HUGE tantrum! Then wouldn’t let me pay when I(re-)offered, and was almost shaking with rage, cursing me as I left. Uncomfortable. (Was I wrong or unfair? I hope not. The way I see it, I’m not paying for effort — although what effort he made is unclear — I’m paying for clean clothes. I didn’t say any of this to him.)

Drop off and pick up folded. What more in life may I ask for? The family that runs the place is fantastic, always friendly and kind. I drop off once a week and the next day wash and folded. Wow… I have always had great experiences with the the past 5 years I have gone.

Laundry Depot has a very pleasant proprietor and is conveniently located along El Camino right off Santa Cruz. Unfortunately, I had a couple of poor experiences here recently and will probably stick with one of my many other cleaning options in the future. First, I had my curtains«cleaned» for $ 100… but they were returned covered in the same cat fur balls with which I’d dropped them off. In the same trip, my flat-press-only-please khakis were returned with a nice deep crease(you know, the kind that doesn’t really ever press out). In fairness, the owner did offer to re-clean both items… so I don’t harbor any ill-will, but I’m also not eager to head back.
