Hot, fresh, home cooking. Just like my mom and grandma used to make. Fried chicken was even better than my mom’s. Best i have ever had in my life. Didn’t even get to the dessert bar because i was too full bit it looked beautiful and all items were homemade not frozen. I wish i could come here again but probably will never go through Jackson ever again. The thought makes me sad!!! Oh did I mention the wait staff??? Awesome people that enjoyed their customers and their jobs. Don’t pass this restaurant up. — you’ll miss a part of our culture that’s disappearing.

Probably my first and real experience with southern food. It is a buffet and they have fried chicken, fried gizzards, fried green tomatoes and so on. Not only did I enjoy the food, but the friendly southern people. Everyone was so very welcoming!

The restaurant is now known as Louise’s. Excellent food served buffet style. Down home selection of meat, vegetables, breads, desserts and a fresh salad bar with a good selection. Thursday night is senior night and the cost is $ 9 per person including drink. We will be eating there again.

As good as it gets. For southern fried catfish and all the fixins. You can’t go wrong. Nice salad bar and steamer tables loaded with what the south is known for.
A very casual place that’s crowded after church on Sundays. Very reasonable. I travel down this road twice a year, coming and going between Santa Fe, NM and Deerfield Beach, FL.
