Ulta Cosmetics and Salon

This location is actually really well kept and stocked. The staff are always super helpful. I’ve made this my primary go-​to location for drugstore — medium end cosmetics.

So I am not a big makeup kind of gal, however I was in the area and wanted to see what they had. As I entered I was greeted by the cashier. I walked around the store for a while looking at all their inventory. They had a good amount of stuff there. The store wasn’t the neatest but it wasn’t messy either. It reminded me of Sephora in a way, however it had many different products and a salon in the back. I also found the staff to be very nice as several of them asked if I needed help finding anything. Overall, pretty nice makeup store. I would go back !

I love ulta, but this one is usually messy or understocked. Some of the staff is nice, some of the staff is not nice, but almost all of the staff know nothing about cosmetics or anything else for that matter. I have purchased too many things there on bad recommendation. I only go to ulta for my points, otherwise I would go to Sephora at Carriage Crossing.

Ulta is a place I avoid. Not because I don’t like it. Because I love it. Even if I go to buy JUST body wash I end up buying so much more. I am so much more likely to purchase something here rather than a department store. The cosmetics are available to sample and the lack of pushy salespeople is heaven. Recently I needed a touch up before an impromptu dinner out. I stopped at Ulta wiped my face off and tried a whole new face of products. I ended up purchasing 2 of the new items.

This place gets 4 stars because I love Ulta… however, this location is so underkempt, it’s sad. They have everything a typical Ulta has… all of your favorite cosmetics from Urban Decay down to CoverGirl. They’ve got high end hair products and perfumes, and even the stuff that is more budget friendly.
Thing is, I’ve been to several different Ulta’s, and this one is just a mess! For the amount of space they have, it’s pretty clear that the purchasing team at this location doesn’t want to fill the space with more product, so you have a lot of empty and unorganized floor space. Women only come back to this store because they need a specific item… unfortunately, they won’t buy more than that because the store refuses to stock anything that I might impulse buy, losing them money.
It’s too bad. I keep going to this store because it’s the closest one to me, but I would rather get everything online, since there’s not much to choose from in this store.
