Sycamore Lake Apartments

No stars is what the rating should be. Adam’s review is accurate. I could write an endless review about how shitty this place is, but all you need to take from this is «DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT IT!» There is a million other things to waste your money on. All the neighbors always talk about when their lease is up they are getting the hell out.

I moved in in July, and I love it here. There is new management, they have remodeled the units, the pool, the parking lots, the grounds, etc. The landscaping is pretty, and they keep the grounds clean. I love the big, old trees and the lake. If I have a maintenance issue, they fix it right away. I live in the front, near the office, which is a plus. I have good neighbors, and we look out for one another. Never a problem with bugs, they spray regularly, and you can request it if you see anything. They are very strict about paying the rent, so that keeps responsible, hard-​working people here, in my opinion. They don’t put up with any crap. All residents are notified if there is a crime, they have security, and I have never felt uneasy. I can’t speak enough about the great staff here. They have a motel type unit that you can rent when family comes in from out of town, which is a neat perk. I looked around a lot of places before deciding on this place. I am close to everything I need — right up the road from the Bartlett Kroger, Walgreen’s, I-​40, etc. This area sure beats the traffic nightmare of all the apartments out in Cordova, and the likes. It’s in my budget. Even if I could afford a newer, more modern place, I have found that I prefer good management, over «luxury living». The bad reviews — most before the new management took over.

After moving into the apartments, i found that days after my tour of the exact apartment in which i was moving that there were large amounts of bugs that would come up from the drains… also 5 – 6 stray black cats living by the disgusting dumpsters… the management team took over a month to fix my dishwasher… the hot water in the shower turns off after about 5 – 6 minutes MAXIMUM… the payment portal online does not work, and the parking lots are like driving during an earthquake. This Place is TRULY a S***HOLE
