I was referred to Dr. Sexton by my dentist of 5 or so years for the removal of wisdom teeth. My experience includes a consultation, the actual surgery, and a follow up visit. Each time I had an appointment, there was a bit of a wait– between 30min to 45min or so. Other than the wait time, there weren’t any unfavorable things that I experienced. The receptionist warmly greeted me each time and all other staff I came in contact with were equally friendly. During my consultation, staff discussed what I could expect surgery day such as payment and pain. Dr. Sexton was great, too. He explained all the important aspects of my oral surgery– day of expectations and post-op experience. I felt well prepared for my actual surgery. Dr. Sexton and staff made me feel very comfortable on the day of surgery. My follow up visit was brief but informative. Overall, I’m pleased with my experience. The only negative is the long wait time even with an appointment.

Dr. Weiskof has a great bedside manner and is very genuine. That’s why I give this practice 3 stars instead of 2. From a purely medical standpoint, our experience was 4 stars. But the the management of the office is poor, and that matters to me. The office staff is less than inviting. I was given conflicting messages about payment options. On all our visits, we had extremely long wait times — 45 to 60 minutes. The TV playing in the waiting room is very annoying. There is a rug in the crowded waiting room that trips patients. I tripped on it and so did another patient. A nurse who saw it said, «Everyone trips on that!» I was surprised that they know of this problem and do nothing to fix it. At a minimum, it is embarrassing to the person who trips. At worst, it could cause an accident. I expect a health care facility to be more concerned about basic safety.
