Royal Hookah Cafe

Great place! Not expensive and amazing shisha! No 1000% mark up like other «lounges». They use great coals (not the cheap disc self lighters like some other places I have reviewed in Memphis) and the tobacco choices are good. The atmosphere is comfortable and they make a mean Turkish coffee. The staff is nice and attentive to their customers especially with coal refills… didn’t even have to ask for them they just came! In terms of shisha places in Memphis I have been tried definitely a top choice!

I gave four stars because this hookah lounge is very clean. The staff is nice but does not come to your table often to see if you need any help or have any questions about anything. I had to motion to get someone’s attention. So paying attention to customers is an issue that I have with them. Also they have a huge selection of hookah. That’s a plus. Now on to smoking the hookah… I would not say I am a pro at it but I have never experienced as much coughing as I did when I used their hookahs. I have no idea why that occurred. I’m not sure if they need to clean their hoses or possibly change the coals more often but something needs to be done. My friend and I decided to get an ice bucket to see if that would help. It did for a while but the coughing and itchy throat continued. Since this experience, I have no desire to smoke hookah for a while. The staff did not have an issue smoking their hookahs but many customers were coughing as well and complaining about the exact thing as us. The music could be a tad louder as well. It was too low when I was there. Other than that I would recommend this place to others. Just remember to have patience while there.

I loved this place! The service was excellent and the hookah was wonderful. They only serve pop in cans, there is no fountain machine or food if that is what you are looking for. Try the Iron Man! It is fruity and delicious.

I used to work in Middle East, so I’ve experienced hookah in the native place. Now I can just come here to get my hookah fixed! Everyone is so friendly and welcoming. The most important thing is you got the best stuff without breaking your bank!
They sell some juice for your vape too! A really cool place to hang out…

I absolutely love it here! The prices are perfect, every flavor I’ve tried so far is wonderful! The Turkish Coffee is heavenly! The entire staff is great, everyone is so attentive and easy to talk to. Incredibly relaxing environment to spend my nights in. Cozy and chill. Everything is super clean, and the hookahs are very well taken care of.

Great spot! Staff is super nice, prices are more than reasonable & the mint Arabic tea was so perfect for a cold, windy visit. Got the rose & mint hookah, perfect if you prefer a strong hookah!

Great Spot to Hangout and Relax. This is the best Hookah lounge I’ve been to so far (The last one I went to when I was visiting West Palm Beach, FL a while ago was NOT that good). The Hookah was off the chain and the atmosphere is quite welcoming and comfortable. There’s enough variety of hookah, drinks, events to please everyone. Stop in and check it out.
