I was staying at the Homewood suites on sunday night, I ordered pizza from this place, they told me that it was going to be delivered, later i received a call telling me that I would need to come down to open the door since the building was closed, completely understood and waited for the call, 40 min after(normal time for delivery) i received a call from a old lady(driver) saying that i needed to come to the lobby for it since there was no way to find me(even when they she had the room number) i told her all she needed to do was drive around the perimeter and I was going to wait for her(just like they told me on the phone) she was relentlessly rude on the phone saying that she had delivered pizza over 20 years to this place and there was no way to find me(there is only one perimeter around the hotel) finally she drove around and just to tell have me sign for the pizza and the she said I DONTHAVEYOURPIZZA!!! i said WHAT? why did you have me sign pretending that you would give me my food??? right was I was talking to her she drove off, not an apology, not an explanation or nothing! I called and talked to a «manager» named Matt, explained to him the whole thing and he told me that this dumb lady had given my food to somebody else, he neb she had already meet me at the building door and they completely refused to come back, they remade the pizza and deliver it to the lobby i had to walk(it’s far) to get my pizza, same old lady and still never apologized for anything. I asked for her name, DIANE. This was the worse device that i have ever received from any delivery… i have order pizzas from many cities in all states to room hotels and this was simply outrageous.

***UPDATE*** I received a call from Tim Johnston this evening who is the Area Supervisor for Papa Johns. He was extremely professional and apologetic about this issue. He assured me that it would not happen again and that if he received any more complaints about this, more than words would be given to the offending employees. I appreciated his prompt attention to this. Bravo, Papa Johns! For this reason, I bumped my review from 3 stars to 4. ***************** I’ve ordered from this store several times for delivery and carryout and have had no issues there. The service is usually great and the product is as you’d expect from Papa Johns. However, last night I picked up my to-go order and saw something pretty unbecoming of the brand. While I was leaving, there were two employees and a manager smoking out in front of the store. I’ve noticed this before too. They’re not smoking 20 – 30 feet away, they’re smoking just out of sight of the front windows but maybe 10 feet from the front doors and it’s disgusting. I didn’t stick around to see if they washed their hands before they walked back in but I know that as a customer, I don’t like seeing employees smoking out front. And they didn’t care that I was there. Do they not have a designated smoking area out back or at least away from the FRONT of the store?
