OB-Gyn Specialists PC

This gynecologist’s office used to be exceptional, but over the past few years it has gone way down hill. Coming to this office for my annual exam went from being a very pleasant experience to one I grew to completely dread. I’m not the type of individual that needs staff members to throw confetti when I walk in the office door, but the behavior of the techs at this office is completely disappointing. Examples: All but about two of the receptionists/​techs in the office constantly have a frown on their face, a terrible attitude, and are totally curt with you. When my name was called to go back for my appointment, a tech with a frown on her face led me to a room to take my weight. Her tone of voice was really mean, and she mumbled her words when she spoke. If I ever asked «pardon me?», when I couldn’t understand her, she gave me a look as though I had insulted her and snapped back at me in the rudest possible tone of voice. When I asked another tech where the bathroom was, she also mumbled so I failed to understand her. When I politely inquired about the location of the bathroom a second time, she got a vicious look in her eyes and sarcastically pointed down a hallway. By this point I wanted to cancel my appointment and leave altogether. As far as physicians go, I can only speak about Dr. Hayden. She is a sweet person. But sometimes I feel like she is trying to rush me in and out of the office. The sessions with her are usually very short, and I feel like she can rush through the examinations. Perhaps this is merely because any doctor’s office is busy, but I digress. Sometimes I get the feeling that this place is merely a baby factory where all of the people working in the office want to get you in, and quickly get you out. Dr. Hayden is quite sweet, and I’m not sure about any of the other current physicians, but my experiences with merely the techs make me want to never visit this doctor’s office again. The level of mistreatment and rudeness from the techs is abhorrent, completely disappointing, and gets your visit off to a terrible start. If they don’t get some more friendly and/​or considerate techs in that place, their clientele will drop like flies. No one wants to be mistreated for no reason, especially when they’re paying for a service. I’m switching doctors.

Well, I don’t know what happened and I don’t care, but I now have a collection agency trying to bill me for $ 165 for my visit in August 2013. Avoid, avoid, avoid… did I say avoid? Unless you enjoy bills you don’t understand and people who won’t explain or fix them.

This is the best OBGyn that I’ve ever been to. My main doctor is Dr Mayo, but I saw Dr Pilgrim the last time that I was there because my doctor was out of town. I love this clinic. However, as Karen said before me, their nurses are pretty crap. I have never seen a clinic with such friendly doctors and such indifferent nursing staff. The staff as a whole have been exceptionally helpful, though. I am glad that my friend recommended this clinic to me… one of the best medical decisions I’ve made in a while!
