Lenny’s Sub Shop

Apparently this location has undergone new management and new employees. The results are lackluster as it appears friendliness, customer service and portions are now suffering. While this location is two blocks from my office and I eat here a couple of times a week, I’ll skip this location and drive three miles to the one on Ridgeway for better service and product. Shame!

Lenny’s beats subway hands down!
Always fresh, service is great, and food is reasonably priced.

Not the best Lenny’s in town, but it will do in a pinch when your needing a cheesesteak fix!

I love Lenny’s. Tons of fresh toppings on fresh bread. I can’t say anything bad about Lennys.

I am a cheesesteak kind of guy. Hell, I could live off them the rest of my life, and I would be absolutely OK with it. So, I needed to find a place that would sell them, close to the house. I had forgotten that Lenny’s had made them. And when I found out how close it was from the house, it was time to investigate.
Located at Hacks/​Winchester (in the strip behind Bank of America), it is pretty easy to find. When I usually go, its not too crowded, and even when the line is 10 deep, it only take about 10 minutes.
They have a plethora of items, cold and hot alike. But I stick to one item. Please note they only list the regular size on the pricing, but if you order a large, it consists of 2 regulars. I stick with the large cheesesteak, no onions (I am sure they are good, but cooked onions before a 12 hour dock shift is no fun). I don’t mess with the chips, cookies, or drinks (they do sell Coke!).
The thing I will say about Lenny’s I do like is their bread. It’s fluffy, soft, and a decent size. Easy on the teeth. It goes well with cooked steak and cheese.
The people here are really nice, and haven’t messed up my order yet. I will keep that as a plus. I will note though sometimes the drink area looks kind of messy at times and is somewhat of a turnoff.
They have a rewards program here, I should probably sign up for it– not sure what it entails. My god, I am starving, I think this will be on todays menu.

This was my very first visit to a Lenny’s sub. It was so good I hit this place 3 times in 2 days. Each time I got a different sandwich and all were so good. The fresh cut deli meat, the portions of meat and veggies on the sandwich was out of this world.

Great place for a quick lunch very nice staff way better than Subway!

Most everyone has been to Lenny’s as they are all over town and started in Memphis. Good bread, good meats and cheeses. This review is really for this store. The folks working are nice, efficient and the place is clean. We have been eating here a few times a week trying to eat healthy and have had good food and service. Update as of 10÷10÷14 this place could use a good deal cleaning!
