This La Quinta may be located in a nice area and have nice rooms, but it is not safe. The UHaul we were towing was broken into; the padlock was cut and several priceless items were stolen. There are other hotels around and where this La Quinta is located is a hot spot for thefts. Keep in mind.

A better than typical La Quinta. Nice rooms, appears to have been remodeled in the not so distant past. Easy access off the highway and easy access to several nearby restaurants and a mall. Allows pets with no extra charge; however, they do request you use the side entrance when bringing in your pet. Overall I would definitely recommend this for people traveling with pets.

We are continuing our trend of staying at the La Quinta’s Inn & Suites. And once again we are very happy with our room and the super customer service we were shown. We have stayed in three different La Quinta’s and this one makes four in four days. We have not been disappointed. Today however was a challenge for us because we were having difficulty locating this location because of all the road construction on the I-40E in Memphis. Unable to reach the La Quinta I &S in Memphis by phone we contacted another La Quinta’s location for directions and assistance. The reservationist their(you know who you are) was super helpful. He was able to give us directions to our location and we were overjoyed and thankful. Five stars to the reservationist. Pros: King Bed, love seat and coffee table, large desk, Flat screen TV, Microwave, refrigerator, smoke free, pet friendly, breakfast. Cons: challenging to reach because of the construction on the I– 40 E in Tennessee, didn’t answer phone when I called for help.

There are definitely nicer hotels, but if you are going for a nice bed, safe vibe, low cost, and nice employees this is the place for you.

Beautiful motel. Really surprised me. Beds were good. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. They have a wonderful looking breakfast but didn’t have the flavor matching the appearance. The Internet was free but very lacking.

After 15 hours in the car with the dog, we were desperate for a good night’s sleep. I was originally going to stay at one of the other LA Quinta Memphis locations because they’re a little cheaper, but I’m so glad we didnt. We booked our room and wound up on the first floor right by the lobby and breakfast area. I was a little worried because my dog likes to warn us of all impending doom(like ice machines) but it was great. The room was spotless, the bed was super comfy, the shower nice and strong, and there were waffles for breakfast. I’m a runner, so a good hotel gym is key, and La Quinta’s, while tiny, had really nice machines, some free weights, and towels. Overall, I was very impressed and would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only criticism I have is that it took *forever* to get a hold of someone on the phone. We booked the room through my app, which doesn’t give you the option to tell them you’re traveling with a pet, so I wanted to call and give them a heads up. It took 5 tries to get an answer, but it was after midnight so maybe the night auditor was tied up with another customer.

The room we stayed in was nice, but smelled so strongly of animal urine our clothes now smell like it. It smelled fresh, like the room hadn’t been cleaned from the last pet. We didn’t have any animals with us tonight, so I know it was the previous visitor. The main room was clean, and the bathroom was very nice.

This one is completely smoke free, which is very nice especially my last night’s stay was on a smoking floor at another La Quinta. Very nice décor, nice furnature, pool AND jacuzzi was a big plus too. The staff is very considerate and courteours. For example, they put us on the first floor because we have pets(multiple) for easier access; the fridge in the room barely works but the front desk guy offered to put our stuff in their employee fridge so the perishable don’t get spoiled. Pros: Furnishing is not cheaply done. Nice solid wood furnitures. Modern sink/faucet; pet friendly; free WiFi(no codes needed); free hot breakfast; jacuzzi and pool; Hybrid preferred parking was a nice touch(yey me!) Cons:The Dish Cable is nice but it takes like 15 seconds to change ONECHANNEL… It’s not even worth watching gazillion channels of tv… so stupid. For me, a working fridge and freezer is a must so it really dampened my mood for having a crappy one and also to be told by the front desk that it takes a few HOURS for it to start working… WTF? LOUD toilet! Geez, it sounded like a torpedo warning till I figured out it was the toilet that was making the noise! Because of the service and amenities and it’s CLEAN even though it’s a pet friendly hotel, I would still give this one a 5 star especially they’re so military friendly too and gave us a great deal!

I chose this hotel because I was transporting two cats to their new home in New York, and La Quinta has no pet fees and doesn’t limit you to one pet per room like some hotels do. I was very happy with this hotel! Mike at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and the bed frames go all the way to the floor, so there is no place for a travel-weary kitty to hide, which was a big bonus for me on this trip! I spent a very comfortable night there, and would definitely stay again.

We stay in a lot of hotels thanks to the military life. I am very picky. I have four kids and like having an indoor pool and free Hot breakfast. This hotel fit the bill. It’s clean, the staff are all friendly, the gym and pool aren’t too bad and it is walking distance to the mall. The breakfast offers you waffles that you get to make, eggs and a variety of other breakfast items. The gym only has four exercise machines, two treadmills, an elliptical and a bike plus some free weights but all of the equipment is top quality. The best part is that animals are gladly excepted here. Overall this hotel is awesome!

We stayed here a couple nights while we were looking for a home in the area. We chose La Quinta because they are very pet-friendly. No extra charge, no deposit, just give them a heads up that you have a pet. They put us on the first floor so that it would be easy for us to get in and out with our pup. I have never stayed in a pet-friendly place before, so I was worried it would be gross. It was not at all. The room was clean, did not smell, it was really what you would have expected from any hotel room in this price range. We were very happy with our stay and would recommend this La Quinta to anyone traveling with pets.

Nice location at Wolfchase and pet friendly. The rooms look great, furnishings are nice, but toilets are LOUD. We traveled with our sometimes anxious pup who had a rough night because of the strange noises that after 3 hours we figured out was an upstairs toilet and louder than they should have been other guests. My older brother and his family stayed here, too, and they visited the pool and workout room as well — we didn’t make those. Breakfast was fine, standard free hotel fare. We liked the wood entry and then carpet in the rooms. Sometimes pet friendly hotels have yucky floor treatments, but this one was fine. Granite surround in the shower/tub, nice touch and different treatment. Our room looked out onto the Burger King drive thru. No problems with that, like I said the noise was from upstairs, so I’d say request a third floor room if you’re a light sleeper. Not a bad night at the«Q,» though, we would visit again.
