Karlee Hickman, Independent Stylist for Stella & Dot

I only recently started getting into accessories and jewelry and decided to host a Stella and Dot party for me and a few friends. It only took a couple bottles of wine, some easy appetizers, and before I knew it we were elbow deep in all sorts of jewelry pieces that were both unique and affordable; I wanted them all! I was pleased at how versatile the pieces were. I am loving that my favorite necklace from the evening can go with my everyday outfits as well withmy more dressier, special occasion outfits.
I have to say the best part of my experience with Stella and Dot has to be Karlee Hickman. This girl knows how to accessorize and can match anyone to the pieces that suit them the most. At the same time, Karlee is the opposite of pushy. She seems to really enjoy her job and genuinely wants the guests to simply enjoy the trunk show and fall in love with the pieces on their own terms. I know that for me and my guests, it was easy to fall in love with Stella and Dot AND Karlee! I’m looking forward to hosting another trunk show in the near future.

Stella and Dot jewelry is so cute! I can’t get enough of it! And Karlee is such a fun stylist to work with. She lets you try on all the jewelry, she’s never pushy about buying things, has the best suggestions and really seems have a great eye for fashion and styilng. Best of all, she feels like one of your girlfriends right from the start. Some of the people at the trunk show didn’t even know she was the Stella & Dot rep until she started helping us pick out jewelry.
So much fun, so easy to do, and I get so many compliments on everything I wear from Stella & Dot. I haven’t had my own trunk show yet, but I’m planning to host one right after Christmas. I’ve got a wishlist a mile long and know I’ll get a bunch of it for free by being the hostess.

i HEART Stella & Dot! This jewelry is soo cute, totally affordable, praised in all the fashion magazines, and maybe best of all, the boutique comes to you! No stuffy jewelry stores, no glass cases, no leaving the house in this weather. You get to have your girlfriends over, have some wine/​cupcakes/​whatever, your stylist brings all of her cute, cute jewelry to try on and play with, and you order then and there through her. Its extremely personal shopping with excellent customer service. And the icing on the cake? Just WAIT till you see the packaging it comes in. Its just as good-​looking as the jewelry! It comes in the kind of packaging you just can’t throw away after you open it. Know what I’m talking about?
Side note. If you don’t feel like socializing but you DO feel like shopping for jewelry, you can always do it online. Shipping is a flat 5.95 no matter what you order. Pretty sweet deal, huh?
One last thing. I hate it when Unilocal reviews go on and on and never get to the specifics. So here are my specific favorites (for now… they release two new lines a year, so this will change I’m sure!)–
