We came to Memphis to see the city. We didn’t realize the hotel would be far removed from the areas we were wanting to visit, so if you think it’s a hop, skip and jump downtown, find somewhere else to stay. The traffic will frustrate you. The hotel itself was quiet. We started on the 4th floor and never heard a peep, even on New years eve. The room was adequate. No refrigerator. The air unit had been changed out, but the carpet had not and there was a large gap of exposed flooring in the room. Again, not a major concern but shows a lack of attention to detail. The hotel could use a little basic maintenance and updating. Otherwise, it worked for our needs.

After driving all day from New Mexico, my husband and I stopped here for the night and we were not impressed. If you’re looking for luxury(or even comfort) I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The lobby looked nice and re-done but the first negative thing we noticed was that the elevator smelled awful(my husband described it as the smell of a mortuary or the inside of a vacuum). Once we got to our room I decided to take a shower and the water pressure was terrible(as my husband said, it felt like someone was peeing on him), one of the folded towels in our bathroom had a huge stain on it and our t.v. was constantly freezing and at one point stopped working all together. Aside from all the negatives, the lady at the front desk was friendly and they had fresh brewed coffee in the lobby. BUT it definitely wasn’t worth the price.

Lobby is remodeled but rooms are dingy and dirty and haven’t been remodeled. Mattresses are horrible. Carpet is sticky from age and dirt. Avoided this hotel on 2nd trip thru this area even though I am a loyal Hilton member.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn on a business trip to Memphis, and this place was great. The location was a mere 10 minutes from the cool downtown district and it was right off the highway so it was very easy getting to. It was located right near an office park, so there was a good amount of restaurants across the street for me to grab a bit. I love Hampton Inns because they have fruit and water available when I first walk in, and this one was no exception. It’s the little things that make a stay much easier and more comfortable, especially on a business trip. Hampton Inn has earned my loyalty. This room was clean and quiet. Everything I needed. They had a good breakfast in the morning, and a workout room, which I always try to hit up when I’m on the road. They were pretty busy when I arrived, and often I expect it to be loud and rowdy when groups or conventions are staying at the same place, but I couldn’t have been less disturbed. I’ve stayed in Memphis a number of times, and I’ll say I felt much more comfortable staying in this area. It’s really only a few minutes further drive, but feeling like I was in a more secure area was totally worth it to me. I’ll definitely stay here again.

Tony at the Front Desk is always very upbeat and welcoming. However, this place needs. some work! the water upon turning on is a brown rusty color!!! the picture was taken after it had been running a minute so it’s much lighter than originally experienced. No shampoo!!! AGAIN!!! what is the deal??? and this is so convenient to my client but will be rethinking my stay next time!

A recommendable place to stay if you are in the area. Room service were very nice, they wouldn’t complain if you ask them for something. The rooms were cleaned very well, smells fresh. The bedsheets and other clothes are all new. The bathroom was cleaned well, didn’t had any bad experience. Glad to say that I stayed for 5 times now and I am having a great time.

I’ve stayed here three times so far. No bad experience yet. Fly he front desk staff has always been very nice, professional, helpful, and friendly. The rooms have always been clean and neat. This hotel is usually pretty quiet. The prices are reasonable. There is a gas station and Wendy’s restaurant in walking distance. Most places for food will require you to drive. A lot of people stop here due to its location by the hospital. It’s the perfect spot if you are going to Baptist hospital or the West Clinic.

Upon arrival the front desk attendants, Tony and DeNae, greeted us with a warm welcome. They recommend restaurants in the area, accommodated our late check out request, and saved one cookie for us. The rooms are clean, old but clean. Would definitely stay again.

My friends had horrible experiences checking in and dirty rooms. It is sad how this can ruin a hotel experience. The front desk staff was not the friendliest. And to top it off, the parking lot is windy and difficult. If you have to stay in Memphis, there are plenty of other options.

I am a Hilton Diamond member and this year alone I have already stayed 93 nights in a Hilton brand hotel. That being said this was not my favorite place. It was not bad, in fact the rooms were very satisfactory. The service is why I would say I have experienced better. The women who works the breakfast in morning was kind enough in greeting guests, but was often very loud, yelling/chatting with other hotel staff. There was also 2 occasions in which she was asked to refill something on the breakfast line and she responded with no, stating that breakfast is wrapping up even though there was still 30 minutes left on the stated time. Overall, I would stay at this hotel as the rooms are satisfactory and the location worked for us.

Very friendly and helpful staff. However, the quality of their hotel room did not live up to the Hilton standard. Mattress was very lumpy and creaky. Internet reception was very poor and I kept getting booted offline. This has never been an issue at other Hilton hotels that I’ve stayed at. When I turned on the shower faucet, the toilet began running. In fact, the toilet ran throughout the night. Also, construction began outside our hotel at 6 am on a Sunday morning. Again, staff was great but the hotel left a lot to be desired. I wouldn’t stay here again. Next time I’d pay the extra money and stay closer to Downtown.
