I went here once and they seated me after another group who got there after I did. They gave the group their drinks and appetizers before I even got my drink. When I did get my drink, the other group was already eating their meal. I paid for my drink and left. I did warn the next couple that were coming into the restaurant of my experience and they left immediately. I notice that when I(a black woman) go to a Chinese restaurant, they always seat the black people in the back and in the corners. I’ll never eat there again.

If you want REAL Chinese food, you’re at the wrong place. The food here is edible… it’ll fill you up and I suppose if you’re used to only American Chinese food, this place would be alright. But my suggestion is, If you’re gonna eat here you’re probably better off at some of the better Chinese buffets in town. The hot and sour soup was practically sweet. Yes it had a ton of black pepper — which incidentally this soup should actually be seasoned with white pepper — and if they didn’t add any of the sweetness, it might not have been half bad. The sesame chicken aka deep fried slices of chicken tenders with a very light sprinkle of sesame seeds was pretty tasty… and the fried rice was decent, though nothing anyone with a wok and serious heat can’t churn out. What I’m saying is… if you live close to this place, I guess it’s an option to have the food here… but if you really want good Chinese food, where all the Asians(in the know) go eat, take out and/or feast, go to New Asia in Germantown. I hear even the food off their American Chinese food menu is pretty darn good :)
