People that own this gas station/food something other, have a horrible attitude. Customer care at Churches is nonexistent. They will sale you old bird/food and tell you they will not cook you fresh if any food is already prepared regardless how long it’s been sitting. When I come through Memphis I avoided this place: I haven’t purchased food there in several years, Asian lady owns this establishment and she gave me choice words when I asked for fresh food. And it’s not that clean, I wouldn’t say it’s nasty but it is dated. Their used to be another small deli setup in main store not sure if it’s still there. However that food was delicious; hot and fresh and much cleaner than Churches(same building and owner-traditional soul food.)

Either the staff is illiterate or just plain inept. I’ve been there 2 days in a row and they’ve messed up my order both days. There WON’T be a third time.

Family and I was return from Southland Greyhound Park(which was great venue) and my wifes mom requested we stop in to pickup a family 10 piece only special. We walked in and no personal welcome greeting upon arrival. There was one customer already waiting for their order. Then, the girl behind the counter turned around and began counting money from the register? After a 1 minute goes by, she finally acknowledges our presence and ask another worker to assist with the order. After 5 minutes we finally get our order. We drive home and low and behold we were shorted 2 pieces of chicken! Since money does not grow on trees, we attempt to call the restaurant back… no answer x3 times. Why have a business phone when no one answers it? We drive back there and tell the manager. We received our missing pieces. The chicken was fried very overcooked(hard) for the money that was spent. FYI, maybe you can attempt to reach them(901−546−0444) and perhaps they may answer the phone :P Never again from this store!
