Chip N’ Dale’s Antique Mall

Chip N’ Dale’s is the kind of place where you can find just about anything from Vintage Costume jewelry to lovely antique furniture. It’s one of those treasure hunts that you can go on on a rainy Saturday afternoon and come out with a reasonably priced prize. The owners are extremely knowledgeable and will provide advice on «cleaning up» your find correctly. Don’t sell this Antique Mall short! It doesn’t have fancy carpet and a restaurant. There aren’t any booths… really…either…just tags. But you will NOT be disappointed if you take your time and look carefully… lots of antiquing fun!

Chip N’ Dale’s is absolutely friggin’ fabulous. I could hardly contain myself as we pulled into the back parking lot and I caught sight of all the old tin and neon signs and furniture. This is the kind of antique/​vintage store you gotta dig through. My favorite. There’s simply no fun in walking into an organized, pretty antique store. In fact, I’m gonna go out on a limb and call it an oxymoron.
Chip’s offers up a lot in the way of old, wood antique furniture. I uploaded what pictures I could take just to give an idea. I spied an enormously ornate wooden bed frame with a head and foot board. It had intricate designs whittled into the posts and was downright fabulous. There are tons of dressers and mirrors and tables and chairs. We have a vintage table and chairs we spent months searching for back when we lived in Arizona, you see I wanted a Monica Gellar from Friends type table ensemble. So, we collected non-​matching antique chairs and reupholstered them and painted them various colors, and waited till we could spot the most perfect table to pull the whole set together. It took over a year. I wish I had known about Chip’s back then. They have a slew of non-​matching chairs that are begging to be painted, reupholstered and loved.
Chip’s also offers up quite a bit in the way of old dish sets and glass ware. They have a couple of large cases on the far left side of the store full of old dolls and toys, and a lot of jewelry as well. I will definitely be back here soon to add to my ever growing collection of vintage finds.
