I’ve always found this store to be very clean and tidy. The selection is typical of this type of store. However… the customer service is atrocious. Employees are in absolutely no hurry to help and frequently ignore customers until whatever task they’re working on(in this case, folding pants) is complete. They also appear to be more concerned with talking crap about their customers than doing their job.

I seriously love Burlington and this one is my favorites because it has more of a variety and they have an entire clearance rack which most Burlingtons, that I have been to, do not have. It is also one of the largest that I’ve been to. Other the the products, which are great, I can not say that service is the same. It’s slow and can be rude at times but because of the clothes and prices, I bare with it.

They say you get what you pay for, and nowhere is that more true than at Burlington Coat Factory. The biggest(or at least it seems like the biggest) of the discount warehouses in the Eastgate shopping center, Burlington requires a certain level of patience. I recently went shopping for a «real» winter coat here, and while I found what I was looking for, boy was it a pain. For starters, the women’s coats are spread over what looks like about an acre. There are helpful signs on the racks, saying things like«down,» «wool,» «long,» «short,» but apparently those are just for decoration, since they seemed to have no relation to what their racks actually held. My boyfriend(who really deserves a medal, by the way), patiently helped me rifle through the racks in the hopes of quickly finding a winner, which then gave way to dogged flipping through each and every coat, scanning for both style(could I possibly see myself wearing this?) and size(is this coat triple XL, or something more suited to someone only 5’2″?). Much looking finally produced a short quilted down Calvin Klein. Further thought and scavenger hunting(thank you, sainted boyfriend) produced a long version in both medium and large, though they were, upon closer examination, not quite the same coat. Much agonizing and searching for a mirror later(what were they thinking, to have approximately one mirror located somewhere in the center of all those coats?), I settled upon the medium long coat, attractively priced at $ 99.99. The check-out, which had a mercifully short line, was its usual charmless experience. Did I mention that you get what you pay for here? However, I have already worn the coat, and it is exactly what I needed(and I am a picky shopper, let me tell you). So I guess the search, however frustrating at the time, was worth it.
