IFYOUDON’T WANTTOREADTHEWHOLETHINGTHERE’S A SECTIONTHATSAYSTHERUNDOWNBELOW! The hotel itself was okay. It was pretty small. However, it got the job done. A plus, and one of the few reasons it got 2 stars(instead of 1), is that it is very close to Beale, the zoo, and a lot of other Memphis amenities. I think the lesson learned here is that you get what you pay for. It had most basic amenities: fridge, tv, direct tv, breakfast, wifi, and a coffee maker. However, it was also lacking some of the things you would expect from a hotel: pool/hot tub, MICROWAVE. The day time staff was cordial and professional, but the night lady had a Memphis attitude. You’re automatically charged for the first night before you get there, WHICHISFINE. However, the lady at the desk insisted that she still needed to put a hold on my account for the whole amount, in addition to the first night I was already charged for(which was wrong). I had to pull out my capital one app and SHOW her for her to understand. To put icing on the cake: it’s located in the medical district. You will constantly hear sirens and helicopters. THE RUNDOWN-The goods: it’s a basic hotel that will get the job done for a pretty good price if you don’t care about amenities. Very close to Beale, The Zoo, etc. The bad: Staff is okay, but not the best — located very close to a hospital, lots of sirens. The ugly: no microwave, no pools/hot tubs, very small —

I booked a room here for a last minute business trip. Every room in town was booked because of some festival, so I was stuck with this place. Never again. I would rather sleep in my rental car. First off, the breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Stale bagels and cold oatmeal is what you’ll get, so don’t expect much more. Second, ROACHES! Roaches in the room, bathroom, everywhere. It’s so disgusting. Save yourself the headache. Don’t stay here.
