Agricenter Expo Center & ShowPlace Arena

Great experience atmosphere exciting. Great vendors, clothing, jewelry, food etc… Great prices as well…

So I guess I checked into the farmer’s market and not the expo center (how dare me), so that leads me to believe that this place has a lot to it.
My buddy brought me here to see a gun show– which believe it or not, is something that I have never been to before.
When we pulled up, I realized this place has a lot of space, and a lot to offer. Thankfully, parking was free, but kind of a free for all. I wasn’t driving, so I wasn’t worried.
Of course, when walking up, there were protesters outside– ha. Then we had to pay a $ 10PP fee to get in. I would personally say not worth it. But I am not here to write about the gun show, I am here to write about the facility.
The place looks like it was built in the 60’s or 70’s and kind of designed like buildings from Disney’s EPCOT.
There are a few exhibition halls, and they have plenty of space, for whatever you may need it for.
They have restrooms, but for the size of the place, I almost feel there are not enough. Maybe thats what all of those people were doing in the corner…
I also noticed on the outside all of the RV hookups for vendors to store all of their stuff– I thought that was cool.
In the end, its a big place to show off goods– but nothing out of the ordinary to make me say «wow»!!

Agricenter International is also the host venue for the annual Delta Fair & Music Festival (
).
To us Yankees, and especially this P.I.G., this festival was quite a treat. It was my first time witnessing a hog race and people riding a mechanical bull. For $ 1, I also got to witness a 2,000 pound pig! I felt quite small in comparison, piglet small.
