****Change of owner While their food is very good, their prices are absurd. Like my above review said, I’m a NYC gal always looking for good food. Cost of that usually doesn’t bother me… But when I can eat at a beautiful sushi place in Manhattan for less than the local Melbourne sushi place… I’m bothered. Every time I’ve been there, we pay approximately $ 40 a person. That’s not us over ordering, that is just our usual. It has stopped us from coming in and started a search elsewhere.

New owners and staff could care less… Lackluster service. Rubbery mushy chicken. super nasty. This used to be our fave go to spot once a week. Now the service is slow and food lousy. Really a shame. Used to be a gem.

Was a huge fan of this place for years… noticed the last few months some changes and went back today, not happy at all!!! The service was ok, the waitress we had was unattentive and I could not hear half of what she was saying, the food is not as good as it was before. I ordered the sashimi which I had always ordered, it was good but now they charge if you want a cup of steamed rice with sashimi??? They never charged before and at 12 for sashimi and additional 2 dollars for a lump of rice, $ 14 for a small lunch portion, will not be going back. wish the old managers/owners still had control of the place bummer:(

This is where I come for sushi. It is made fresh to order. I love the spider roll, eel Avocado roll, and California roll. They make a delicious soft shell crab appetizer. We have also enjoyed the shumai, dumplings and spring rolls. They offer take out and delivery. The menu is large and I am looking forward to trying more dishes.

Just moved to the area and thought we would give this place a try after seeing the good reviews. We ordered the general Tso’s chicken, Kung Pao beef with fried rice & miso soup to go. The General Tso’s was very soggy and the chicken was rubbery. The Kung Pao beef was supposed to have stir fry beef w/peanuts, bell pepper, baby corn, water chestnuts, snow peas, and scallions. It had every other vegetable except what was listed on the menu. No, chestnuts, no peanuts, no baby corn, no snow peas, or scallions and the texture of the meat was very odd, very mushy. Now on to the fried rice, it was pretty much steamed rice with peas & carrots thrown in, definitely not fried. The miso soup looked and tasted like dirty dish water. If I could give them no stars I would. We were very disappointed with our $ 30 meal. We ended up tossing it in the trash after a few bites. Worst food ever!

The chef is creative, all the rolls are pretty and yummy. They are bringing in new items now. Jade egg is my favorite! Love it!

Lately the amount of meat in our entrees have gone way down and the amount of vegetables has greatly increased. Tonight we ordered bourbon chicken and it was mostly celery. The food is still good, but it is disappointing to see the amount of meat decrease so much. It feels overpriced now. The amount of white rice you get with each to go entrée has also shrunk.

You can’t go wrong with anything here! Great sushi(toyo roll in my favorite). Love the Bento Boxes(Beef Negimaki is my favorite). Asian dishes are fabulous(Shrimp w. Candried Walnut is out of this world, Mongolian Beef is heavenly, and the fried rice is the best I’ve ever had… not dry… made to order).

I really like this sushi spot. Been here many times. The staff here is very friendly and provide very good service. I especially like their spicy tuna roll. Made with spicy mayo not chili sauce. That’s the way I like it. Pair that with an eel avocado roll, Tomago, and Ikura. Sushi bliss. Their special rolls here are very good but I like sticking to the basics here myself.

Been going here till we got relocated to CA. We are now back in the area and Toyo continues with quality and generous size sushi/sashimi slices of fish unlike Red Ginger restr.

I’ve now tried this place twice and was disappointed both times. I got a sushi roll the first time and threw half of it away. It looked disgusting and Publix makes better sushi rolls. I tried the Chinese food after reading reviews… got home and the salad was iceberg lettuce with half a tomato… plain white rice instead of pork fried rice… and the General Tso chicken was less than desirable. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The best asain food. The shrimp fried rice is amazing. My favorite dish that I always order is crispy shrimp. It’s definitely the best around.

This is really a Chinese restaurant that serves Japanese-style food. I say«Japanese-style» because it’s Japanese recipes using Chinese ingredients. So, if you’re Japanese, don’t expect it to taste like actual Japanese food. ha I had the chicken teriyaki, which was more like chicken-broccoli(think Chinese beef broccoli) than teriyaki. I didn’t finish it… and I was hungry. I also tried a couple pieces of nigiri sushi, but I should have passed on that, too. With that said, I expect that the Chinese food might be pretty good, since the staff was all Taiwanese(I think). Half the menu was Chinese dishes anyway. So yeah, if you’re hungry for Chinese food, come here and let me know how it was.

LOVELOVELOVE everything here. I just found my new sushi restaurant. If you like sashimi the dinner is awesome and the pieces are huge. They have lots of options if you want no rice or very little rice on your sushi rolls. The soy sauce is made in house and there is white pepper on the table(awesome!). If you want something that is cooked they have really good Asian food too! We got the eggplant in garlic sauce. Needless to say everything was fantastic and we couldn’t finish it all. Our waitress was super nice and more than happy to help us box our food and give us a bag of ice for our drive home.

Toyo Roll(8 pieces) was really good. The Wonton Soup went down smoothly. Why 3 stars: The place was not crowded– in fact, there were about 6 tables out of 20– but the service was really slow. Food is good and affordable though.

My husband and I found this place on Unilocal while on vacation visiting family. The menu has a great selection, the good was served quickly, portion sizes were perfect, and most importantly, the food was fresh and delicious! The service was very friendly and prompt. When I thought there was too much dressing on my side salad, they offered to make me another!(I didn’t have them do it, but it was a very nice thing to offer.)

Wonderful experience! My Wife and I found this place, because the GPS in the car said it was the closest Japanese place near our current position. We saw a lot of cars around the place so we gave it a try. We were not disappointed! We have 4 sushi rolls that were exceptional! We will definitely return to eat here.

This is a sushi bar where my wife and I go every other week. We generally get the sushi sashimi combo $ 22. Great value. The staff are great. Neither sushi chef speaks much English, but they are very nice. Things I would change: There is a TV on the wall that generally has cartoons or game shows on. It would be nice if it was playing music videos or something. Also, would like to see a happy hour? 4 – 6 Monday-Friday. Overall I give the sushi bar 4.5.
