I woke up, suddenly, one morning to searing back and leg pain. A trip to the hospital confirmed a sprained muscle, and a swollen disk were pressing on my sciatic nerve. A week of narcotic pain killers, muscle relaxants and anti-​inflammatories were no help.
I’m new to the area, so I consulted Unilocal for an acupuncture center or chiropractor. Wje Wellness Center answered the phone first! They agreed to see me the next day.
Two visits in and the pain is reduced. I can move. I can sleep. I have a plan, from my acupuncturist to get myself back to normal, if not better.

I’ve had a massage with Teresa twice and each time has been a pleasure and delight. She’s attentive, understands massage technique, and most importantly listens. Sessions with her are always calming and fulfilling. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for massage or acupuncture therapy.
