It was around 6 pm in the evening, so the search for dinner was on. There would still be a few hours to go after this before we would reach our eventual hotel down in Dania Beach, FL. We’ve been to different Bob Evans before, but wanted to check one out since we haven’t been to one in years since they are not found locally where I live. When coming in, there were four other parties waiting to be seated. It took about five to ten minutes before we were seated as it looked like they were understaffed. Once we were seated, our server was fairly prompt about getting the drink orders. I had a sweet tea and my mom had a coffee. Out come the drinks. The tea was fine, but the coffee was cold. My mom asked for a cup and ice to make it an iced coffee instead and the server obliged. For dinner, I had ordered the turkey dinner with a substitution. I had asked to substitute the carrots with macaroni and cheese instead since I’m not a fan of cooked carrots. However, when the order came out, the mashed potatoes were replaced for the macaroni and cheese instead of the carrots. Once I tracked the server down, she came out with mashed potatoes for me. Shortly after that, one of the managers came around to get hot coffee out. There were three other tables around us that had cold coffee as well. In the end, there were just too many issues going on for one night. The place was understaffed, orders coming out wrong, cold coffee, and one more thing. After paying, the one at the register tried to give me a coupon to come back, but it expired the following day. After I gave it back, she tried again, but gave it back again as I would not be able to use it. I think I’ll look for a different Bob Evans in the future if in the mood for it.

I had stopped at Bob Evans last week for breakfast. This was my first time at a Bob Evans and most likely my last time. The only thing that impressed me was the service. I personally don’t like to be too negative, but the food was absolutely terrible! I would’ve much rather gone to breakfast at a hospital cafeteria. As I was saying before, the service was great! We were seated immediately and our food came out pretty quick. I had ordered the country fried steak meal. I was really happy when the waitress told me I could substitute pancakes for my toast at no additional charge! However, once the food came out my experience took a complete turn around. My whole steak was swimming in this tasteless/gelatinous gravy. The breading on my steak might have stayed crisp if the breading wasn’t so thin. My eggs were ordered over medium and I definitely received over hard eggs. The hash browns were undercooked and had to be covered in ketchup to even be consumed. Finally, my pancakes were the only thing I completely finished, but that was only because I was so hungry! The pancakes just tasted like they had a very artificIal vanilla taste to them. Only moments after eating I had acquired a horrible stomachache. It’s quite possible that the chef was having a bad day, but this was such an off day that I have been completely turned off by Bob Evans. Maybe one day on some road trip I’ll stop in again, but for now I will keep my distance.

We go to Bob Evans once a year, and today was that day. The food isn’t really anything I can’t make at home, but it’s fun to get a bowl of salty, fatty, yummy sausage gravy and decent biscuits. It isn’t something I’d recommend for more than once a year, but I do recommend it.

Great service by Olga and overall not a bad breakfast at all. Clean place. Having been to other Bob Evans this place I would say is a cut above the rest.

I love this place for breakfast and for dinner when I indulge in comfort food. Today I had biscuits and gravy, eggs over medium, hash browns, and sausage links. The girls had chocolate pancakes, crepes, and even tomato basil soup. Kids eat strange things for breakfast.

Have not been to a Bob Evans in a very long time. Glad we stopped by on our way to the Brevard Zoo. I had the pot roast sandwich and it was fantastic! Wasn’t able to indulge in one of the desserts, but they look awesome! Two thumbs up. :-)

we try this place twice both times the worst service and absolutely disgusting food. the store manager could care less about your issues or any problems you might have with her food. if you notice the servers don’t wash their hands when they’re clean up the tables.

I’ve eaten at three different Bob Evans and this one was the third. Overall the food is relatively good. There was nothing necessarily bad, but nothing memorable either, other than their Colonial salad dressing which was actually very good. My wife had one of their burgers that she liked and I had a salad which was fresh made. The service was a bit slow but friendly nonetheless. For a chain restaurant it is okay. I only eat at this particular chain when it’s under circumstances of absolute need or convenience of the situation.

Every time that I’ve gone there the service has been very good. The servers have been efficient, courteous, friendly and helpful. The food is about what you would expect from a chain restaurant — not the greatest but decent fare. The menu has a nice selection of American style meals and desserts that should satisfy most tastes.

Lousy service. Flavorless food even when they get your order wrong. I have eaten at Bob Evans restaurants all over the South and yet I have never found one that was worth the price paid. If the point of being a link in a restaurant chain is to be consistent, Bob Evans does this very well, even though it’s consistently bad. But this review is only meant in reference to the restaurant in Viera. For starters, the attitude of our server was unacceptable. She acted as if we were merely there to warm the chairs, instead of customers in search of a good meal. She was absent-minded and dismissive. The food, as always seems to be the case with BE, was flavorless crap, barely worthy of being fed to stray dogs. And this is where consistency for Bob Evans truly shines. Bland, open-the-box-and-add-water, crap. And to top it off,(again a consistent theme for Bob Evans) the order was wrong.
