Ocean State Job Lot

This is another one of my favorite stores. Most Ocean State Job Lots stores are amazing, as are both of the ones near my house… as is this store. This is definitely the cleanest Ocean State Job Lot and one of the larger one. The selection is normally very good, yet sometimes they don’t have as much as the larger store near my house in Dedham. I haven’t ever yet had a problem finding something I have needed though here. During my last visit, on 8÷19÷14, one of the items I was purchasing (a backpack), came up at the wrong price which they fixed and took off an additional 10% for not pricing it correctly. Amazing customer service. Plus, the employee was SO friendly and helpful. This store is also not very busy (and much less busy than my local store), and has a large parking lot.
Overall, another great Ocean State Job Lot that I would highly suggest. It’s the best spot in Medway to get things at discounts (besides the Dollar Tree). Located in the Medway Shopping Center on Route 109 in Medway. 5 stars.

I’ve always loved their pottery colors and the prices can’t be beat! I was going to plant veggies in one, but did a lead test first. It came back positive. Buyers beware if you are looking to plant anything you will actually eat.

I know it’s difficult to equate Ocean State with quality, but as far as Job Lots go, this one is the best one I’ve been to. It’s big, but well organized and the employees are friendly. Does not feel like your uncle’s basement.
Stock is hit or miss. Sometimes they have awesome brand name items for super cheap, and really good quality pantry staples. Sometimes, they don’t have what may seem like common sense things.
I just noticed today that this location has cherry wood knitting needles, for $ 2 a set! Woah!
I like coming here during the holidays, to fill gift baskets or get cheap decorations. They have online coupons and offers now, too.
This location is the best if you want to try out a gluten-​free product or fancy snack without paying a lot of money. Also, the best assortment of Bob’s Red Mill products at great prices.
Anything you might get at Walmart or Target for winter (shovels, snowmelt, scrapers) or spring (gardening, planters, bird feeders) you can get at Ocean State for much less. And it’s the same stuff, so don’t be a snob.
