My wife and I just visited for first time. It seems other reviewers felt many of the same things we did. Over priced mediocre table wines. We are not picky peeps so we hung in there for two bottles(hey, it was Friday and we were determined to have fun !) and a cheese/meat tray(lunch meat, a few small pieces of cheese, and 10 ritz crackers). $ 63 + tip. We had fun talking about how we would have handled the interior design. It’s pretty bare as is and the cafeteria style tables aren’t very inviting. I hate to pick it apart, obviously the owners are passionate and the place has tons of potential. Even though we won’t be planning to return we hope they get it ironed out and wish them luck!

A mediocre winery at best. I was not impressed. I would recommend going during happy hour because saving a bit of money on the wine makes it more worth it. If you are a sweet wine drinker this place is not for you. They only have one sweet white. Their food is very high priced for what you get.

My girlfriend and I were pretty excited to see a new winery open in our neighborhood. We were much more disappointed than excited when we visited. The outside of the building is very appealing, but do not be deceived; my dentist’s waiting room is more inviting and that’s not a joke. The cafeteria furniture was a turnoff. I also felt like they wanted nothing more than my money, and my feelings were confirmed when I spent $ 15 for what appeared to be Kraft singles and a couple of crackers. The wine was actually decent, so I thought, OK, let’s come back but bring our own food… No!!! I was informed you can not bring your own food but must order from their«full kitchen». All we saw on the menu(other than the cheese slices) was sandwiches. Maybe we will change our plan and bring our own wine to Subway instead. Too many winery options in the area to revisit this place.

Ordered a sample of a few wines for the three of us at $ 0.50. It was a tablespoon. We then got an $ 8 glass, and it was about an inch in the neutral-fluted wine glass, guessing about 3oz. The entire bottle is $ 16? There is no table service, so you have to walk up and order at the bar. We ordered a few of their sandwiches and the high cheese plate for $ 15. Three thin slices of brie, fresh small cow mozz ball, four pimento olives and two pepperocinis. Olives seemed out of place and the pepperocinis were whole. 6 milk crackers. Way overpriced for what we got. Great bread and toasting with their panini toasters. Sandwiches weren’t too upscale, menu made them sound much better than they were — just regular turkey(or ham) on bread with barely noticeable cheese. and they pair potato chips and a pickle spear, all for $ 12. Overall quite pricey we all thought. Outside of the new building looks inviting, but you walk into a giant room with someone behind the bar at the other end of the room saying welcome over all the other patrons. Not impressed at all, no ambiance, very cold feeling, industrial chairs and tables, no coziness. No idea what their«ugly sweater wall» is doing in this place either. Probably won’t be going back.

Yes. I have experienced better. Wolf Creek, for one. Filia Cellars in Wadsworth for another. I had the sampler, $ 11.00 for four samples of their reds(or whites, your choice). Each sample is maybe two ounces. I thought they were O.K., but not great. A friend had an $ 8.00 glass and I understand what others said about the pour. It was rather lacking. Another friend opted to simply have a soda, as they were here before and really didn’t care for any of the wines(not sweet enough). I tend to like a sweet wine over a dry, but really didn’t taste too much difference in my sample of four. They weren’t really sweet, but weren’t really dry, either. Maybe the first sample blocked my taste buds, but I couldn’t see too much difference in them. They just opened, so, as time goes on, I hope they find things to hang on the bare walls as it is very noisy in there, and only a few other tables were occupied when I was there. The décor consists of a mix of wooden planked floors and timbers in the walls with some rather industrial looking tables on the first floor. I thought it was kind of a cool mixture. The upstairs has mirrored tables and vaulted ceilings. Again, rather cool. There is also a small deck off the upstairs area that will probably be the place to be when weather permits. In order to compete they will have to start giving a more generous pour. I’ve spoken to others who have been there and they all consider it to be expensive for what you get. Unless they do they will more than likely not ever be too crowded as there are too many other wineries popping up that offer more, plus the well-established one that have been in the game for years.

Love this place! Wine was excellent and it was a cozy and inviting place. For just being opened it was packed! The wine light fixtures were really cool too. Didn’t try the food, but they offer paninis, cheese, and meat trays if you are hungry. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend. We got a bottle of the«Misunderstood» and loved it.

I totally agree with BJ with every word stated. I don’t feel the need to repeat. The one inch pour for 8.00., seriously? Yesterday blaring Christmas music. I know they are new but they have a lot of kinks to work out if they want repeat customers. I know we won’t be back anytime soon. Hopefully they can pull it off.

We’ve enjoyed California wine country before and experienced many wonderful wineries so we were looking forward to checking this place out. We were actually considering holding an event here. I can’t express how disappointed we were. I realize they recently opened but the poorly lit roadway makes it difficult to find the driveway in the dark. Pulling into a dark gravel parking lot makes it difficult to navigate. I’m not sure how they will handle the challenges they will face when the snow starts to fly. From the outside the place looks beautiful and you’d expect to find a warm and cozy environment once inside but that is definitely not the case. The only word I can find to sum this place up is «cold». The wine list is limited. We felt the $ 8 we paid for each glass of wine was overpriced for the pour we received. The upstairs,(the«high» of High and Low) was bare… No art work, nothing. Just tables, chairs and a fireplace. We sat upstairs which needs a lot more then one fireplace to warm it up because it was quite cold. We watched a couple walk upstairs, drink their wine quickly and saw them leave immediately. Crystal chandeliers and Quartz tables can be found on the second floor but it falls short in the ambiance department. The sparse décor and loft ceilings make the place extremely loud. Again, not cozy and warm. I’m not sure why you would build a beautiful building only to throw some tables and chairs in it and serve up overpriced wine and expect to have people return. Definitely not worth the 8 mile drive there and back. They’ll have to make some serious additions if they hope to have any staying power and still be in business a year from now. I hope the owners have some deep pockets.
